My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Greetings, mortal. I’m Merlin, a 2-year-old long-haired fellow with a face that always looks a little grumpy thanks to my slanted eyes and furrowed brows. Don’t let the expression fool you though I’m actually a pretty sweet guy!

I’ve lived with other cats and dogs before. I didn’t always get along with them right away, but with slow, proper introductions I may be able to share my castle with other animals. I would do best in a home without young rambunctious kids, where my boundaries can be respected.

I do enjoy some pets, but in moderation. I can get overstimulated, and when I’ve had enough I’ll let you know by giving you a little swat or simply walking away- if you read my cues I`m pretty easy to get along with. Being picked up is okay for a short moment, but I prefer to keep all four paws on the ground.

I’m looking for a cat-savvy human who understands my signals and appreciates a cat with a little attitude and a lot of personality. Respect the wizard, and we’ll get along just fine.
