My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, I’m Bagheera, a 1-year-old girl with long, fluffy black fur with a little silver mixed in—if I do say so myself, I’m quite the beauty.

I came to the shelter because my previous family decided they didn’t want me anymore, but I’m ready to leave that behind and find a forever home that will truly love me.

I’m a friendly but slightly shy girl at first, but once I feel comfortable I’m very affectionate. I love pets (honestly, I’ll take them anytime!) and I’m also happy to sit in your lap or be carried around. Being close to my people is one of my favorite things.

I’ve lived with other cats before and may do well with feline friends again with proper introductions. I’m also a playful young cat, and my favorite toy is a little toy mouse—I could chase those all day.

When I’ve had enough attention, I’m very polite about it. I’ll simply move to sit behind you or hop down and relax nearby.

If you’re looking for a beautiful, loving companion who enjoys cuddles, playtime, and being close to her people, I might be the perfect cat for you.
