Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Paella, a handsome brown tabby with dramatic dark stripes and an easygoing personality to match. This sweet, social guy loves chatting with his people and will happily keep you company throughout the day with his friendly meows and calm presence.
Paella seems to enjoy the best of both worlds — he’s happy to play with catnip toys when the mood strikes, but he’s just as content lounging in a sunny window or curling up in a cozy cat bed. He’s affectionate and enjoys attention, and while he’s perfectly fine being picked up, he’s also independent enough that he doesn’t need to be constantly held.
Paella was saved by the staff at Chuck and Don's who brought him to Twin Cities Pet Rescue, and now are his very own fosters until he is adopted! We suspect Paella may have spent some time as a neighborhood cat before coming into rescue. He arrived looking well-fed but with a few old scratches and scabs that suggest he’s had some outdoor adventures. Those days are behind him now, and he’s ready for a safe, loving home.
Paella hasn’t met cats, dogs, or kids in rescue yet, but based on his relaxed and friendly nature, he would likely adjust well with proper introductions. He’s fully litter trained and ready to bring warmth, conversation, and companionship to his forever family. 🐾
Paella is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for his age.
Adoption Fee: $250.00 + applicable tax
Come see Paella at the Chuck & Don’s in Uptown located at 3244 West Lake Street Minneapolis, MN 55416

Twin Cities Pet Rescue (TCPR) is a small, 501c3 nonprofit, companion animal rescue organization. TCPR does not have a facility and is 100% foster-based. TCPR rescues dogs, cats and small animals of all breeds; rescuing them from city impounds, puppy mills, and other situations of abuse and neglect. Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed. TCPR works to help as many animals in need find their furever families as we can, especially helping those animals that need help most.
