Hi there, my name is Fluffer. Life has changed a little for me lately. My previous owner became ill and could no longer care for me, so now I’m looking for a new place where I can settle in and do what I do best—live life quietly and keep an eye out for pesky rodents. I’m a shy and very quiet cat who prefers my independence. I’m not really the cuddly, sit-in-your-lap type, and petting or being picked up isn’t usually my thing. If I’ve had enough attention, I’ll simply wander off and find a cozy spot to nap. I’m much happier doing my own thing and observing the world around me. What I do enjoy is playtime in my own way—especially staying alert for anything that moves. I’ve lived with other cats before and did just fine, but dogs make me nervous, so I’d prefer to avoid them. Because I’m such an independent soul and still need some work with socializing, I’d be perfect for a barn, shop, or garage setting. I’m the kind of cat who would rather focus on the hunt than on human attention. Give me a safe place to stay, along with food, water, and shelter, and I’ll happily return the favor by helping keep your space critter-free. *All our working whiskers are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and vet checked, and our adoption fee is up to you to choose ($30 admin fee still applies). You are responsible for providing a safe and suitable living environment, food, water and veterinary care as required.
