My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Maura

I’m a 2-year-old black long-haired beauty with a heart just as soft as my fluffy coat. I may have come to the shelter as a stray, but don’t let that fool you I never forgot how to love.

The second I see you, I’ll be right there to say hello. No playing hard to get here! I’ll walk right up, lean into your hand, and politely request pets. And once you start? Oh, I’m not letting you stop that easily. I’ll roll around at your feet, show off my gorgeous floofy belly, and ask for more cuddles like it’s my full-time job.

Life on the streets didn’t make me tough- it made me grateful. Grateful for warm hands, soft voices, and cozy places to nap. I’m just a sweet girl who wants someone to love and be loved by in return.

So… do you want a beautiful black long-haired shadow following you around, ready to soak up every bit of affection you have to give?

Because I’m right here, waiting for you
