Story
Prince a 2.5 year old, 14lbs, Seal Point Balinese. He is well named for his regal composition and attention grabbing mannerisms. He is curious, chatty and very smart. He loves to go in the backyard on his harness and to solve puzzles. Prince is quick to learn new tricks and doesn’t need many treats as a motivator. He likes to play with things on strings and using his tunnels to hide. Prince needs to be the center of attention and can get jealous if other cats are getting any. We can tell he is jealous because he tries to chase the other cats away. Prince is prime for TikTok fame and if you are willing and able to dedicate the time to him then you’ll find a great companion in him.

Story
*** Mingi is in our PetSmart Aero adoption center. ***Mingi #19934: beige/brown Siamese mix, short hair, neut. male, born approx. 9/30/21 Cats: good solo or non-dominant catDogs: unknownChildren: past toddler BACKGROUND: Mingi was brought to a vet office for care but then abandoned there when he tested positive for FIV (he was not neutered when he was found and had likely been in some fights as he has some visible scars on his face). The vet reached out to The Rescue House to ask if we could help this loving boy find a loving home.PERSONALITY: Mingi is a social kitty who is very friendly! He loves to be petted and will give you plenty of head butts to encourage the petting session to keep going… in fact, he likes to rub his face against yours, aww. Ear scratches are also welcome and he will verbally tell you how happy he is with a loud rumbly purr. Mingi will let you carry him like a baby for brief periods of time though gets squirmy when he senses you’re about to put him down. He enjoys plenty of playtime and particularly likes it when you bring out a wand toy. COMPATIBILITY: Mingi is great with younger kittens and adolescents, though for adult cats he would need to live with a non-dominant one. He is very people-focused and can get jealous if another cat has your attention and would also do well solo… so he can have you all to himself! We don’t know his thoughts on dogs. Given how friendly Mingi is, we think he’d do well with respectful children past the toddler age. Will Mingi bring a whole lotta love to your family? While healthy, Mingi has tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). This is a type of virus that typically causes some weakening of a cat’s immune system. It is a cat-only virus and cannot be spread through casual friendly contact between cats. FIV+ cats can and do live quite normal lives in quality, duration, and happiness. A good informative website is FIVCats.com.

Story
*** Pearl & Daoi are in a foster home. ***Pearl #19830: cream/brown Snowshoe mix, short hair, spayed female, born approx. 8/15/23Daoi: #19842: black & white bicolor, short hair, spayed female, born approx. 6/5/25Cats: **BONDED PAIR**, no othersDogs: no thanksChildren: calm tweens+BACKGROUND: Pearl was pregnant when she was found in a grocery store parking lot; a kindhearted passerby noticed her and posted a plea for help online. Soon after arriving in foster care, her kittens were born. She was a devoted mama—so much so that when Daoi was found as a tiny solo orphan, Pearl immediately claimed her as her own.PERSONALITY: The connection between these two will melt your heart! ---Pearl knows exactly what she wants — love and attention! She gives her whole heart when it comes to affection (she’ll roll over for belly rubs and you can carry her like a baby), making eye contact and chatting with you as she seeks out your company, then rubbing her head against your hand for moremoremore pets. Like many cats, she can get a little overstimulated at times and may give gentle love bites — a sign she’s ready for a short break before coming back for more cuddles.---Daoi’s adoptive mama became her world and her focus. Wherever Pearl goes, petite little Daoi follows, and will cry if she’s out of sight (which brings Pearl rushing back). Daoi is a gentle girl who can be on the timid side, but she blossoms when she feels safe and will happily chase feather toys… and she perks up when she sees a lickable treat—her absolute favorite! While Daoi isn’t always proactive about seeking your attention, when you call to her she’ll come over for pets, and the moment you are petting her she melts into purrs, grateful for the love and content so long as her mama is nearby. She is gaining confidence with time and is blossoming into a true sweetheart.---Pearl isn’t fond of other cats, but when it comes to Daoi her heart is wide open. Pearl has found her one and only companion, and Daoi has the steadfast mother she needs to give her courage and comfort. Together, they are a perfectly-matched pair—a mother who loves fiercely and a daughter who blossoms in her presence. They MUST be adopted together.COMPATIBILITY: Pearl and Daoi need to be your only fur-children. An active bustling home would not be a good fit; they need a quieter one with adults or calm cat-savvy tweens and up. Chosen family is the best… wil
