Story
Siamese Mix – Lilac Point Male 4 months 5 pounds Rancho Coastal adopts out kittens starting at 8 weeks of age. Many of them have been in foster homes for weeks and were even bottle-fed. If you are thinking about bringing home kittens, be sure to consider your time away from home and the ages of your family members. Kittens between the ages of 8-11 weeks old need more attention and care than older kittens. They need continued training and play time, and are generally better with older children. Kittens that are 4 months and older make better companions for young children and are generally more gentle during play. Rancho Coastal encourages adopting kittens in pairs, which is why we have created our “Two Purr One” Program: if you choose to adopt a pair of kittens, the second kitten has a waived adoption fee. Behaviorists recommend pairs because kittens benefit from the companionship and because they are more entertained, they do less damage around your home. If interested in meeting Cream, an adoption survey and instructions can be found on our website. Adoption Hours: Thursday-Monday; 11 AM to 4 PM (Adoptions until 3:30 PM) Address: 389 Requeza Street, Encinitas, CA 92024

Story
*** Cody is at The Cat Cafe in downtown San Diego. ***Cream/orange Siamese mix, short hair, neutered male, born approx. 4/1/20, #19005Cats: comfortable Dogs: unknown Children: gentle kids fineCody was found on the streets trying to fend for himself. He was getting his food with a group of homeless cats who were being fed by a caretaker. She noticed that Cody was quite friendly; wanting him to have a better life, she scooped him up, and from there he was connected with a Rescue House foster home.Cody is a sweet boy who likes to have his face and neck rubbed. That feels so good! Like many cats, he takes a little time to adapt to new situations and appreciates your patience while he figures things out. Mealtimes help with initial connections, for Cody is very food-motivated: he and his foster had such fun together that she taught him to sit up and beg (SO cute!) when she brings out a fresh dish. When it's time for a lengthy nap during the day, Cody may open up the sliding door of a closet and settle himself on a shelf in there, providing his own form of blackout curtains. Cody is easy to handle and such a good boy; he'll make a great companion!Cody gets along with other cats and is fine with gentle children of all ages. We don't know his thoughts on dogs. Will you adopt this handsome boy?

Story
Meet Marshmallow, a shy and gentle blue-eyed kitty who, along with her two siblings, was rescued from aplastic bag at just a few days old. With dedicatedcare and medical attention, we helped themovercome their challenging start. Marshmallow, withher soft fur and curious nature, embodies resilienceand gratitude, a living testament to thetransformative power of love and compassion. She is quite close to her sibling "Jellybean" and although not mandatory they are adopted together, Marshmallow NEEDS a quiet environment with another friendly, gentle cat to help build her confidence. Marshmallow would best be suited in a quieter home, with no young children. Loud noises and chaos causes her to hide
