Story
Introducing Bandit, a four-month-old handsome boy with personality, charm, and just the right amount of playful mischief. Don’t let the name fool you — the only thing this sweet boy is stealing is hearts! Look how cute he is in his YouTube video now https://youtu.be/xIMNn9cIqUU?si=fv1c3y8HEb-iVwyQ Bandit is curious and adventurous in the cutest way. He loves exploring his surroundings, investigating new toys, and showing off his impressive kitten zoomies. He has that fun, bouncy energy that makes kittenhood so special. Wand toys? Yes please. Crinkly balls? Absolutely. Cardboard boxes? Best invention ever. But what truly makes Bandit special is how affectionate he is. After a good play session, he turns into the ultimate cuddle buddy. He’ll come right up to you for pets and lean into your hand, purring like he’s trying to tell you thank you. He enjoys being around people and thrives on attention and companionship. At four months old, Bandit is still learning and growing, which means he’s at the perfect stage to bond deeply with his forever family. He would do great in a home that will give him both playtime and love — someone who appreciates a fun, interactive kitten who also has a soft, snuggly side. Bandit is sweet, playful, affectionate, and full of potential. He’s ready to grow into the most loyal and loving cat — all he needs is someone to give him the chance. Adopt him now!! Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through.  We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 16,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below!  https://www.facebook.com/ThreeLittlePittiesRescueSavingKitties/  https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/  https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $87 surcharge for transport. Story
Auri was born July 17, 2020, and I adopted her at 8 to 9 weeks old. She is a curious, playful cat who especially loves wand toys and interactive play. She prefers play over constant petting, but when you are relaxing on the couch or in bed, she enjoys affection, makes biscuits, and purrs loudly, especially with a soft blanket nearby. She naps much of the day but needs regular stimulation. She enjoys supervised outdoor time and does not wander far, and may do well in a quieter home with safe outdoor access. Auri can be timid with new people and may take a week or two to adjust. Once comfortable, she does well. She would likely thrive with an experienced cat owner who understands feline behavior and can give her patience and stability. She eats a combination of wet food, dry food, and treats.
