You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. My foster mom calls me a cream puff because I have a little extra around the middle. What can I say - sometimes I get the munchies. I might be eating my feelings because I came from an tough situation and then landed in a busy shelter. So while there might be some emotional baggage, I'm still a good soul and I like lap time as much as the next guy (I love to knead my imaginary dough and zone out). I do scare easily and sometimes I like to retreat to a safe place to sleep. If you sit down though, I will show up and keep your lap warm. I'm totally cool looking with ticked fir and chocolate stripes. I'm only two years old and I have cat and dog experience. I get five stars for using my litter box. I think I need a cat experienced person who can help me on my journey to feeling safe and loved. I would like to be indoors only because the outside will scare me. I LOVE toys and I keep all my favorite toy mice near my bed. I'm completely healthy (tummy pudge included) and I think I'm finally ready for my next big move. Story
Meet Boss Man (aka Manny) 🐾 Boss Man—better known as Manny—is a stunning long-haired Siamese with a larger-than-life personality to match his gorgeous looks. True to his name, Manny likes to run the show and approaches life with confidence, attitude, and plenty of charm. Manny isn’t your typical cuddly lap cat. Instead, he prefers to be near his people—keeping an eye on what you’re doing. Affection is very much on his terms, but once he decides it’s petting time, he commits wholeheartedly. Just be aware: if the love ends too suddenly, Manny may give a little “love bite” to let you know he wasn’t quite finished yet. Playtime is where Manny really shines. He has a bold, energetic spirit and loves rough-and-tumble play. Because of this, he may try to boss around other animals. He tends to do best with confident, sturdy companions—whether a tough cat or dog—who won’t be intimidated by his big personality. Manny would thrive in an experienced, adult-only home with someone who understands cat behavior and respects feline boundaries. He’s a classic “rough-around-the-edges” guy with a lot of character, and the right person will appreciate his spirited nature. For the adopter who enjoys a confident, entertaining cat with plenty of attitude, Boss Man will keep life interesting—and reward you with loyalty, companionship, and a personality you won’t soon forget. Story
Auri was born July 17, 2020, and I adopted her at 8 to 9 weeks old. She is a curious, playful cat who especially loves wand toys and interactive play. She prefers play over constant petting, but when you are relaxing on the couch or in bed, she enjoys affection, makes biscuits, and purrs loudly, especially with a soft blanket nearby. She naps much of the day but needs regular stimulation. She enjoys supervised outdoor time and does not wander far, and may do well in a quieter home with safe outdoor access. Auri can be timid with new people and may take a week or two to adjust. Once comfortable, she does well. She would likely thrive with an experienced cat owner who understands feline behavior and can give her patience and stability. She eats a combination of wet food, dry food, and treats. I am going to be traveling for some time and cannot take her with me unfortunately.
