Story
Addie is a very sweet, affectionate, socially happy dog. she loves to be given belly rubs and any other petting. she thinks she's a lap dog, so she will get on your lap if you let her, or at least your sofa or chair, especially if you're there too. she loves to play ball. She would do that all day. She loves squeaky toys but chews them up fast.She loves walking and will sniff everything. she loves to be off leash in a mountain setting or other park setting but is good about coming back when called. she doesn't like hot weather but loves the snow. she will walk in the rain. she dislikes cats and loud noises. she's very sensitive to any loud noises. she will hide or huddle somewhere. on a walk, when there's a loud noise like roofers working or a loud boom, she will pull on the leash very hard to get home. she understands a lot...is very smart. she knows what it means when we spell Park, Walk, Treat. She knows the word popcorn and that's her favorite treat besides chewing bones.

To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet & greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too. Jase is an adorable nearly 8 year old Basenji/Chihuahua mix with beautiful golden eyes and a ring of white fur around his neck. He is a super sweet little guy. This handsome little guy was found in an orchard with five other dogs when he was barely a year old. Jase is a playful little guy with certain dogs. He has formed a special bond with beautiful 3 year old ABBY and they can be found playing or cuddling together. They would make a great little pair. He loves his treats! He has been neutered, dewormed, Frontlined, vaccinations are current, and he has been microchipped. Jase is very shy; he has come a long way but has more to go, he is great with other dogs and would be fine with another dog (preferably ABBY) in a calm, loving adult home. Jase loves to play, and will be a great little companion. He will need a canine playmate and we are working on leash-training. Jase seems potty trained and is a house dog. He loves to snuggle with a calm older dog and will need a very patient loving home. No Children or teens either, just a calm loving family. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to. 3.
