Sweet Goose is ready to fly into your heart! This adorable medium-sized pup, born on April 5, 2025, is as wonderful as she is resilient. Her microchip tells us a story - she was adopted as just a small puppy by at Stockton Animal Shelter. We don't know why she was found wandering all by herself at just 6 months old - mere months after being promised a forever home - but she's here safe with us until she finds her new family. Her love of people never wavered, but we hope she never has to experience a broken promise ever again. She currently weighs 40 lbs and is still filling out. Her breed mix is unknown, but her appearance has a Basenji-Boxer look. She is a unique beauty. She has the silliest little bouncy walk and is curious about everyone she meets. She plays very well with the dogs here at the shelter. She is already microchipped, vaccinated, and spayed. If you're ready to give this sweet girl the stable, loving home she deserves, please come meet her. $350 adoption fee. Perry is a sweet and shy 2 year old Basenji mix. She needs someone who is experienced and has a very secure yard as she is an escape artist - like she can undo zippers on some kennels. She would love to have a playmate, right now she loves to run, chase and be chased with her foster brothers. She would actually make an incredible agility dog, if someone put time into training her. We've seen her hop 6ft fences and then jump right back over! If you think Perry is a dog you can handle, please put in an application. She really is very sweet and beautiful! ##2741359##
