Story
🦊 Meet Wylie – The Little Fox with a Big Heart! 🐾 Did someone order a tiny fox? Because here I am! My name is Wylie, and with my oversized ears, sleek tan coat, and bright, curious eyes, I often get mistaken for a little fox. But I promise—I'm all puppy, all sweetness, and all heart! I'm a young female Basenji blend, which means I'm smart, athletic, curious, and always ready for my next adventure. I'll stay on the smaller side when I'm all grown up, making me the perfect size for hiking, road trips, neighborhood walks, and snuggling up after a day of fun. I'm full of puppy energy and absolutely love exploring the world around me! Playing with other dogs is one of my favorite things, and I always seem to find something exciting to investigate. Every day is a brand-new adventure, and I'm ready for all of it! I'm a clever little girl who learns quickly and enjoys discovering new things. With positive training, fun adventures, and lots of love, I'll grow into an incredible lifelong companion. My favorite things include squeaky toys, zoomies around the yard, tasty treats, belly rubs, and curling up beside my favorite people when playtime is over. I'm looking for a family who will include me in their everyday life, continue teaching me all the important puppy skills, and give me the love and patience every young pup deserves. Puppy classes sound like a blast, and I promise to reward you with endless smiles, unwavering loyalty, and unconditional love. If you've always dreamed of having a best friend who looks a little like a fox but loves you with her whole heart, I just might be your perfect match. ❤️ Wylie is ready to begin the greatest adventure of her life—with her forever family. Could that be you? 🐾 Wylie's Highlights 🐾 Female Basenji blend 🐾 Approximately 3 months old 🐾 Expected to stay small (around 20–25 pounds when grown) 🐾 Great with other dogs 🐾 Smart, curious, playful, and affectionate 🐾 Loves adventures, zoomies, and cuddle time 🐾 Ready to fill your home with love, laughter, and puppy kisses! Adoption fee in Texas is $350. Out of State adoption fee with Transport is $650.

Story
Meet Mary Ann and Ginger, an adorable bonded pair of medium-sized rescue dogs who are searching for their forever home. These super cute girls have spent their entire lives on their own until they were recently rescued. Despite their rough beginnings, Mary Ann and Ginger are incredibly sweet and are now learning to enjoy the comforts of a loving home. Both Mary Ann and Ginger get along wonderfully with other dogs, though they haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. They need a patient adopter who will give them the time and space they need to adjust to their new surroundings and discover the joys of being cherished pets. Ginger, who bravely underwent heartworm treatment, is now healthy and heartworm negative. Both dogs are fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and on preventatives. They even tolerate baths and absolutely love being petted. Currently, Mary Ann and Ginger are being fostered in Seguin, TX, where they are receiving the care and love they deserve. If you have a kind heart and a gentle hand, these two sweethearts will surely reward you with endless affection and loyalty. Adopt Mary Ann and Ginger and give them the loving home they've always dreamed of.

Story
ALL our cats and dogs are in the NY area but can be adopted out of state to the purrfect furever home.  In some cases, we can help transport.  Zani's al fresco Summer Adoptions  follow us on FB to find us this summer as we will try new locations to meet the needs of NYC and support the little stores:)         Meet Blaze: 1-Year-Old 45lbs  Island Boy with Big PersonalityFrom Puerto Rico with Love (and a Solid Bark) Blaze with a family with two kids who he adore. Unfortunately the family is going through a divorce. Blaze is what you get when you mix a loyal guardian with a total goofball—basically, the best of both worlds if you’re ready for an adventure. This handsome fawn-and-white rescue came all the way from Puerto Rico and arrived fully housebroken (seriously, this guy knows what he’s doing). The Blaze absolutely LIVES for backyard runs—he’s got the athleticism and the boundless energy of a dog who was born to move. When he’s not zooming around like his tail’s on fire, he’s ready to flop on the couch for serious cuddle sessions. He’s equal parts protective pooch and silly companion, with a bark that’ll let you know he’s looking out for his people, but a wag that says he’s just happy to be near you.Like most young, energetic dogs, Blaze loves  toys, that random shoe you left out… it’s all fair game to him. He needs an owner who’ll give him appropriate outlets (lots of durable toys, puzzle toys, and healthy chew alternatives) and can channel that enthusiasm with exercise and training.Your Perfect Match: You’re active, you’ve got space for this boy to run, and you’re looking for a dog who’s part protector, part best friend. You understand that young dogs need patience, exercise, and boundaries—and you’re ready to invest that time. If you can give Blaze a structured home with regular exercise and training, he’ll give you loyalty, laughs, and cuddles in return. The Bottom Line: Blaze is a stunning, soulful boy with so much love to give. He deserves a home as amazing as he is. Ready to be his person?     All dogs are located in NY/NJ area All our puppies need puppy play dates/doggy facetime so we recommend homes with other pups or daily interactions to keep them tired out, happy and social.     Facebook: Zani's Furry Friends ZFF (weekly adoption event info posted there) Twitter: zanisff  Instagram: zanisfurryfriends   Dogs are spayed/neutered, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, Rabies vaxed, and microchipped (not Lyme vaxed but we seriously recommend it!)  All are in the NY/NJ area but we will adopt out of state to the purrfect home and in some cases, we can arrange transport.  Please go to our site  https://zanisfurryfriends.org  fill out an application  Many of us (cats/dogs) will be on display on Saturdays or Sundays, weather dependent--please ask by writing us at dogs@zanisfurryfriends.org and following us on FB. If you are seriously interested in adopting one of us in particular, please fill out an application early Friday so that we can be sure to be there. Otherwise we decide based on other variables. Usually we are in our foster homes so this is a bit more stressful and a slightly artificial environment but we do want to be seen and find our furever homes too.   Please consider providing a home for more than one dog, especially if you are considering adopting a puppy. Dogs are pack animals and very much enjoy as well as need other dog company to learn to play, socialize and be good companion animals to people. The upside to this is that you won't feel as guilty leaving them alone and you get twice the love. Please come! And if you can't adopt, maybe you can foster or volunteer, and you can always donate! If you want to know about cats/dogs specifically being shown at our adoption locations, please email us info@zanisfurryfriends.org closer to the date so we know your interest and will make every effort to have that pet at the event or let you know how and where you can meet.  It is extemely helpful and speeds up adoption if the application is filled out prior to visiting us so please do that before coming to our weekend events. Our weekend locations are: Saturdays or Sundays, weather dependent  Follow us on FB, Zani's Furry Friends ZFF, for latest updates. Usually we are in our foster homes so all this is a bit more stressful but we do want to be seen and find our furever homes. Please come! And if you can't adopt, maybe you can foster or volunteer. And you can always donate:) Cats and Dogs are spayed/neutered, UTD w/ all age appropriate shots and microchipped. Cats are feline combo tested for FIV/FeLV; dogs are heartworm tested and rabies vax'd, (NOT lyme vaxed but we seriously recommend it); rabbits are spayed/neutered. Please fill out an application and email to: For Cats: cats@zanisfurryfriends.org For Dogs: dogs@zanisfurryfriends.org For Rabbits: nyc.acc.rabbits@gmail.com. Please visit our website zanisfurryfriends.org.
