Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Marin! Marin came to PRBJ after living on the streets in Puerto Rico.  A rescue in PR found this little pup and took him in and began caring for him.  Due to overcrowding at that rescue they reached out to see if we had space to take him.  So Marin got his flight wings and was flown to Florida in search of his forever home.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 29, 2026, 4:44 pm

SEE ALL OF OUR AVAILABLE DOGS ON OUR WEBSITE: www.tracyspawsrescue.org Meet Dolly! Dolly is one of the sweetest little souls you will ever meet once she realizes you are safe. Weighing between 15 and 16 pounds, about 2 yrs old and she came to us from deep South Texas after being found wandering the streets. She had no microchip, collar, or identification and had not been spayed…an all-too-familiar story in that area. Dolly is very submissive, gets along beautifully with other dogs, and is incredibly friendly with people once she settles in. More than anything, she simply loves to be held and loved on. If you’re looking for a loving little companion you can take almost anywhere…one who adores people, enjoys other dogs, and has a wonderful temperament…Dolly is just about as perfect as they come. Be sure to watch her video! If you need any additional information about Dolly, once you have an approved application, we are always happy to help. Dolly is located at our shelter near San Antonio, TX and is available for transport to St. Augustine, FL on December 19th with approved application and confirmed adoption. Her adoption fee is $450. The fee includes transport cost. ❤️If you’d like to make this sweet dog part of your family, please review our adoption process and complete an application here: https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt Learn more about our rescue here: https://www.facebook.com/TracysPawsRescue Every dog adopted through Tracy’s Paws receives: • Chagas, heartworm, and tick testing (when age-appropriate) • All core vaccines (age-appropriate) • Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives • Regular Deworming • Spay/neuter surgery • Microchip Breed and age listings are our best guess, based on appearance. Whether you're adopting from us or anywhere in the southern states, please familiarize yourself with Chagas disease. It's endemic in the south. Story
MEET MAGGIE — YOUR NEW ADVENTURE BUDDY! 10 months old, full of energy, and STILL waiting for someone to call her their own. Maggie is a beautiful 10-month-old (assumed) Basenji/American Bully mix- DNA test pending. Maggie has a whole lot of personality and even more love to give! But Maggie’s story starts long before she was old enough to even open her eyes. We’ve had Maggie since she was just ONE WEEK OLD. When Maggie was only a tiny newborn, we pulled her, her siblings, and their mom from a euthanasia list at a shelter in Georgia. Their lives were at risk before they even had the chance to experience them. We brought this little family into our rescue, gave them the care they needed, and watched Maggie grow from a helpless little potato into the beautiful, goofy girl she is today. Maggie was eventually adopted, and we thought she had found her happily ever after. Unfortunately, at just six months old, Maggie was returned to our rescue. And she’s been growing up with us ever since. Maggie is now 10 months old, and she’s spending some of the most important months of her life without a family of her own. Don’t get us wrong, we love this girl tremendously. But a rescue is NOT where we want her to grow up. She deserves a family. A routine. A backyard to run around in. Someone to take her on adventures, teach her new things, and love her for the rest of her life. And we’re desperately hoping someone will finally give her that chance. A LITTLE ABOUT MAGGIE: • 10 months old • Basenji/American Bully mix • Spayed • Fully vaccinated • Current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention • Microchipped • Fully vetted and ready for adoption! • Dog friendly • NOT cat friendly • Great with kids and people • Slightly shy when meeting new people, but warms up quickly! • High energy, playful, and still VERY much a puppy! WHAT MAGGIE NEEDS IN HER FOREVER HOME: Maggie is NOT looking for a family whose idea of exercise is walking from the couch to the refrigerator. This girl wants to RUN, PLAY, EXPLORE, and enjoy everything life has to offer! Maggie is an active, high-energy puppy who needs a family that understands her exercise and enrichment needs. A securely fenced-in yard is REQUIRED, and an active family is an absolute MUST. She would love a family who enjoys spending time outdoors, going on adventures, and providing her with plenty of opportunities to burn off that puppy energy. She’s dog friendly and would enjoy having a compatible canine sibling to play with! Maggie can be a little shy initially, but once she realizes you’re a friend, her sweet, goofy personality starts shining through. She’s still young, still learning, and still figuring out the world around her. And she deserves to do all of that with a family who loves her. We’ve watched Maggie grow up from a one-week-old newborn. We’ve watched her leave for what we thought was her forever home. We’ve watched her come back. And now we’re watching her continue to grow up in rescue. We don’t want to celebrate her first birthday ( December 23rd) without a forever family. We saved Maggie’s life when she was just seven days old. Now we need someone to give her the life we saved her for. OUT-OF-STATE ADOPTION APPLICATIONS ARE WELCOME! We are located in Central Florida, but we happily accept applications from families outside of Florida! Maggie has already spent nearly her entire life in rescue. Please help us make sure she doesn’t spend the rest of it here. Interested in giving Maggie the forever home she’s been waiting for?
