Canela is a gorgeous, brindle basenji/dachshund mix. She was found as a stray on the streets of Costa Rica. It wasn't safe so a local rescue took her into their care. Canela is 3 years old, playful with dogs, friendly with everyone, no cats as Canela likes to chase, and simply needs a forever home. She is spayed, utd vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, Snap 4dx negative, and vet checked. If interested, please email dcdgavel@gmail.com for an adoption application.

He is very eager to please and will follow commands. He is still young so he will need guidance. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He is on the smaller side which makes him ideal for apartment or house living. Location : Korea Adoption inquiries: wds3628@nate.com ▶ (relationship with dogs) : It takes some time to get closer at the first time but, she tends to get along well unless some dog tries to playing too much. She likes to hang out with their friends. ▶ (relationship with cats) : Not the severe hunting but, she is not friendly with cats. It is not recommended with the house where the cats are living. ▶ (relationship with people) : From the time of the rescue, she was on the alert but, not aggressive at all. She doesn’t come to you first, but she even doesn’t refuse to be touched. When she gets confident or strangers visit your house then she could bark at the first time. But she only barks without any other reactions like warning or other additional actions. ▶ (house trained) : outdoor defecation ▶ (walks on leash) : She can slowly do it well. At the first time, she feared cars but, now she is good at it. In the narrow roads, when the car or bike, motorcycle pass through, then she waits until the transportation goes. If you forcibly pull her, you must be careful because she would step back. ▶ (special notes) : She is domesticated while she spent more than one year with temporary protection family, but she is still afraid of people’s touch. She lives quietly and peacefully at home nowadays. There is no problem staying along with young children. She likes to listen to bird’s chirping and appreciating the scene of landscape while sitting on the deck. It is preferred the house with wide yard. I hope Meso meet the family who will take care and accept her at it is.

But she didn't attack the other dogs at all. 24. Rescue story? A grandmother over 90 was taking care of all the local stray dogs in her yard. The grandmother was in such a poor situation and her chronic illness worsened that she could no longer take care of the dogs. We rescued all the dogs she was caring for and built a small shelter. Nancy is the brightest of the dogs. I liked everyone who approached her. We rescued her, hoping that she would meet her family for the rest of her life as a pretty princess.
