This ~4-year-old Basenji mix (about 50 lbs) was removed from his owner after being left without proper shelter or water. Since then, the world has felt scary, loud, and unpredictable. Milo is timid and unsure, trying to figure out who he can trust. But he’s not shut down—he’s just waiting for someone to show him he’s safe. And when you do… he leans in. He accepts gentle pets. He tries. That’s the part of Milo no one sees in a kennel. With other dogs, Milo can come on a little strong at first—he may posture or try to assert himself—so he’ll need slow, structured introductions and guidance. With the right person, this is absolutely manageable. 💔 The reality is… dogs like Milo don’t get much time. Story
Brutis and ottis are brothers, same dad different mothers. Both same age but different litters, they are bonded together and do not want them separated. Due to a separation and unwilling help from ex, my schedule is too much and i work 12 hour shifts and every other weekend, and it is not fair to the dogs. They will be two years old this year, they are both great with no personality issues. They are Basenji mix, i have tried all options and i do not want to relocate them but Unfortunately it is the best thing for them to have ppl in their lives constantly. Im trying to be selfless and do whats best for them. Addition photos upon request.
