At just 9 months old, this Shiba Inu/German Shepherd mix has already spent so much of his young life wondering when it will be his turn. Weighing about 38 lbs, Beau is a loving, playful pup who simply wants to be near his person. Beau has so much love to give. He’s silly, affectionate, and happiest when he’s close to someone who will let him be part of their everyday life. Whether he’s the only dog or has a canine sibling, all he really wants is connection—someone to play with, to learn from, and to come home to. Right now, Beau is still learning the basics in his foster home—house training, crate training, and manners. He’s trying so hard and doing great. He’s attentive, eager to learn, and truly enjoys training, but he needs someone willing to continue guiding him and helping him grow into the amazing dog he’s meant to be. Because of his breed mix, Beau would do best with an active family and a fenced yard where he can run, play, and just be a puppy.
