ARCHER This handsome man is better than a Cinnabon with coffee in the morning! He is a happy go lucky love bug! Archer literally trots with joy when he gets to go outside and take a walk. Archer’s coat is a short dark cinnamon color, he weighs approximately 55 pounds and is 7+ years old. He is a gentle senior who craves a forever companion to hang out with and watch tv. This laid back hunk is a mix of Lab, Black Mouth Cur, Boxer and Pit. His stature is solid just like his love for his forever family. Archer loves to be brushed, enjoys a good back scratch and roll in the yard. He will smile at you all day long to thank you for being with him and taking him outside. This sweet boy is a “leaner”, so he likes to physically touch you while you are sitting down or standing still so he can show you his dedication and support. Archer is a Winner Winner Chicken Dinner type of adoption! So come in and meet this special senior and help him live out the rest of his years with an affectionate family, comfy bed and delicious food!

Story
Hi there, I’m Scooby—and yes, I’m just as lovable as my name suggests. I’m a 3-year-old, 45-pound Basenji mix with a heart full of sweetness and a goofy streak that’ll keep you smiling. I’m healthy, crate-trained, house-trained, and up to date on all my vetting: heartworm negative, vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. I was saved from euthanasia at Memphis Animal Services, and now I’m ready to find my forever family. I absolutely adore people and want to be near them as much as possible. I’m silly and strong on a leash, so I could use a little help with training—but I’m smart and eager to learn. I need a home without cats as I have a strong instinct to chase them. I’m treat-protective and need slow introductions with strangers, but I’m not aggressive and I get along fine with other dogs, especially at mealtime. I’m not a jumper, and overall, I’m a well-rounded guy with a lot of love to give. I’m not big on toys or dog play—I’d rather explore, sniff, and do my own thing. But if you’ve got a hose, I’m in heaven. Water play is my favorite, and I’d be an amazing adventure buddy for hikes, boat rides, or backyard fun. I am in Paris, TN but can be transported to other states for the right home. Please note, there is a transport fee.
