Meet Foxy! Foxy is a 1 year old, 29 pound, Basenji/terrier mix (We think). She is current on shots, heartworm negative, microchipped and will be spayed on October 29th. She is kennel trained. We're working on potty training. She's doing pretty well. Foxy looks and acts more like a puppy than a 2.5 year old dog. She's underweight, but eats well, so should gain the pounds quickly. She gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home and ignores the cat. Foxy craves attention. She can be pretty vocal when she's left alone, so may not be suitable for apartment life. Foxy loves to sit in her person's lap and give hugs. She will do best in a home with other dogs and a human willing to give her a lot of love. These super cute girls have spent their entire lives on their own until they were recently rescued. Despite their rough beginnings, Mary Ann and Ginger are incredibly sweet and are now learning to enjoy the comforts of a loving home. Both Mary Ann and Ginger get along wonderfully with other dogs, though they haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. They need a patient adopter who will give them the time and space they need to adjust to their new surroundings and discover the joys of being cherished pets. Ginger, who bravely underwent heartworm treatment, is now healthy and heartworm negative. Both dogs are fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and on preventatives. They even tolerate baths and absolutely love being petted. Currently, Mary Ann and Ginger are being fostered in Seguin, TX, where they are receiving the care and love they deserve.
