Meet Foxy! Foxy is a 1 year old, 29 pound, Basenji/terrier mix (We think). She is current on shots, heartworm negative, microchipped and will be spayed on October 29th. She is kennel trained. We're working on potty training. She's doing pretty well. Foxy looks and acts more like a puppy than a 2.5 year old dog. She's underweight, but eats well, so should gain the pounds quickly. She gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home and ignores the cat. Foxy craves attention. She can be pretty vocal when she's left alone, so may not be suitable for apartment life. Foxy loves to sit in her person's lap and give hugs. She will do best in a home with other dogs and a human willing to give her a lot of love. Meet Mary Ann and Ginger, an adorable bonded pair of medium-sized rescue dogs who are searching for their forever home. These super cute girls have spent their entire lives on their own until they were recently rescued. Despite their rough beginnings, Mary Ann and Ginger are incredibly sweet and are now learning to enjoy the comforts of a loving home. Both Mary Ann and Ginger get along wonderfully with other dogs, though they haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. They need a patient adopter who will give them the time and space they need to adjust to their new surroundings and discover the joys of being cherished pets. Ginger, who bravely underwent heartworm treatment, is now healthy and heartworm negative. Both dogs are fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and on preventatives. They even tolerate baths and absolutely love being petted. Currently, Mary Ann and Ginger are being fostered in Seguin, TX, where they are receiving the care and love they deserve. If you have a kind heart and a gentle hand, these two sweethearts will surely reward you with endless affection and loyalty. This little girl was found on the side of a country road near Georgetown, TX at about 10 weeks old (vet estimate). Her litter must have been dumped. We found her eating off a deer carcass and covered in fleas. We brought her home with us, cleaned her up, fed her, and planned to keep her. Unfortunately, we have 2 older dogs, 3 young children, very busy schedules, and just not enough time to get her the attention she deserves. She is now 6 months old and is kennel trained and house trained with the bell method. She does well with our kids, but is a puppy still and will jump and nip at heels. She is very energetic - loves running around, chasing her tail, and playing fetch. She had her first round of shots at 12 weeks, but has not yet been spayed as the vet recommended we wait until after her first heat. She is a very smart dog and a wonderful little companion!

Meet Nala – Ready for Her Fresh Start Meet Nala, a beautiful 4-year-old, 50-pound survivor who is ready to find the special person she can call her own. Nala's journey hasn't been easy. She came into rescue pregnant, heartworm positive, and carrying the weight of an uncertain past. Today, her puppies have all found loving homes, and Nala has completed heartworm treatment and received a clean bill of health. She is now spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Nala is kennel trained, potty trained, and settles quietly in her crate after a day of activity. She is a high-energy dog who loves to play hard and have fun, but she also appreciates having a safe space where she can relax and unwind. Because of her past experiences, Nala is very cautious when meeting new people and will need time to adjust to a new home and surroundings. She is not the type of dog who will instantly become everyone's best friend. Instead, she forms deep bonds slowly and meaningfully. Once she trusts you, Nala becomes incredibly loyal and devoted to her person. She would thrive with a patient owner who understands that trust takes time and is looking for a true companion. Nala does have some resource-guarding tendencies with food and toys, so she will need an adopter who can manage those behaviors appropriately. She previously lived in a foster home with cats and did well.
