Story
This cutie pie is Maverick. He's a Basset/Shepherd mix which is obvious in his good looks! (He's called a &#194&#147low rider.&#194&#148) Maverick is one year old and weighs 44 pounds. His foster says he's fun, vocal and sweet. She also says he's quite the curious boy. Add to all of that, and his dog friendliness, and you have a fine boy with a great temperament and, oh course, those short legs!!! (posted 2/5/26, ME) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **February 5, 2026, 11:56 am
