Bear is an adorable 2.5 - 3 year old, 50lb, Bassett Hound/ Labrador mix. We would like to put him in a calm home, with a secure, fenced backyard. He has short legs but he can jump high. He would be best as an only dog, or with a female dog that likes to play rough. He is healthy, neutered, current on all vaccines, and microchipped. Adoption only open to Southern California residents. We do not adopt out to households with children under 10 years old. An application needs to be filled out prior to meeting any of our dogs. Meet Ellie! This beautiful girl found herself at the shelter after wondering the streets alone. No one claimed her so after her stray hold was up one of our fosters begged us to take her. Ellie is 3-4 yrs old, house and crate trained, good with dogs, and kids. Ellie is a little under weight so she is getting extra feedings but she will be up to her proper weight in no time.  Thank you for wanting to adopt from Hank's Legacy Foundation.
