This one of a kind girl is estimated at 3yrs old, and weighing in at a svelte 78lbs, she makes sure to never miss a meal. Kiki loves humans, pats, and belly rubs! She is fully house trained and crate trained (although she'd spoon all day if she had her choice). Kiki is learning basic commands and walks nicely on a snoot loop. She is very expressive, often telling you how she feels with her rumbles and grumbles. While she might look portly, she loves a game of fetch! Bear is an adorable 2.5 - 3 year old, 50lb, Bassett Hound/ Labrador mix. We would like to put him in a calm home, with a secure, fenced backyard. He has short legs but he can jump high. He would be best as an only dog, or with a female dog that likes to play rough. He is healthy, neutered, current on all vaccines, and microchipped. Adoption only open to Southern California residents. We do not adopt out to households with children under 10 years old. An application needs to be filled out prior to meeting any of our dogs. Puppy Winnie is a gorgeous 4 month old short hair Basset mix.  Her mom, Mocha, is a gorgeous chocolate short hair Basset mix.  We don't know who the Dad is, so they are not purebred Dachshunds. She has a lot of puppy energy and needs a home with a yard, and would love a young fur sibling.  Not a good fit for apartment or condo living. Winnie has the most beautiful markings.  So sweet, and very energetic.  Definitely has that long Doxie body. We rescued Arthur four years ago from a shelter near LA. He’s six years old and what we call a “low-rider”—possibly a lab-beagle mix. Some say he looks like a pitbull-corgi blend, which has sparked a lot of debate. Arthur is very loving with our family. He’s the “mayor” of our neighborhood—he loves being around people and doesn’t like being left alone. He struggles with anxiety and is terrified of fireworks, which makes beach living tough for him. He loves running and playing with other dogs but often gets reactive around bigger ones—especially huskies. He has what we call “small man syndrome,” which is funny but worth keeping an eye on. He’s never tried to run away, listens well, is fully potty trained, and has a bladder of steel. Arthur can be unpredictable in busy, chaotic settings, and our home is often that way. It’s not fair to him—he needs a calmer home. He really loves being in the woods too. He is a perfect best friend for quieter home. Absolutely perfect.
