Story
Meet Your Future Cuddle Buddy and Comedic Canine Baylor! Ladies and gentlemen, dog lovers, and comedy aficionados, our ever-so-sweet Baylor is officially ready to find his forever home! This charming pup has all the makings of a star: he's neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, dewormed, and on flea prevention. Basically, he's a walking, wagging bundle of cuteness and hilarity. The Fantastic Features of Baylor: House-trained: Check. Your carpet will remain pristine. Crate Trained: Check. He's got his little doggy den all figured out. Leash Skills: Check. Though his walks are currently short and sweet due to heartworm treatment, he's a leash-walking pro. Heartworm Positive, But Stay Calm! Baylor is undergoing heartworm treatment, which means he needs to take it easy for a while. Think of it as his sabbatical from his usual antics. But don’t let this scare you away—he’s on track for a full recovery and soon will be back to his silly, fun-loving self! Social Butterfly & Stand-Up Comedian: Baylor has aced his social interactions with other dogs. As for cats, let's just say he's got a playful side. Non dog-savvy kitties who hiss, swat, or run are, in Baylor's view, inviting him to a game of "Tag, You’re It!" We're working on clarifying this little mix-up. Comedy Club at Home: Oh, and did we mention his talent for turning everyday objects into a comedy show? Have a carpet runner in your hall? Baylor will be more than happy to put on a full dance routine with it. Forget Netflix, you’ve got Baylor for endless entertainment! So, if you're looking for a pup who's a bit of a charmer, a dash of a comedian, and a whole lot of love, look no further. Baylor is ready to fill your home with laughter and joy. Story
Sam is the most unique looking pup, he name stands for Short Adorable Mutt. It was love at first sight when we pulled him from Randolph animal shelter. He has the body of a basset hound and the head of a pitbull. He definitely has that hound bark which is so cute and he only barks to alert us of anything unusual. He is definitely a very large lap dog. He wants to be as close to you as he can possibly get. He is completely house trained and does well in his crate. He is not destructive except…he is a digger. He is also an escape artist if given the opportunity. He does however come back when he is done with what HE wants to do. He doesn’t seem to care about my cats but will give chase if they run or move quickly so I would not trust him alone with them. Although he gets along with most dogs, he is dog selective and extremely alpha so wish him to be with a one and only or tested with the other dog that would be in his home. He has been totally vetted and microchipped. He truly is a great dog, full of love to give. To apply for him please visit STFFAR.org for a online application May 12, 2025, 1:02 pm

Story
Meet Maybelline or "May Mayyyy" as we like to call her, our 4 year old lowrider mix. She is known for her little legs and big heart, and she is sure to make you fall for her with all the love she gives! She also LOVES nothing more than to cuddle and ask for rubs... all day, everyday! Maybelline is currently living with another dog and has done great with him, given a slow integration period. She loves to follow her foster brother Cooper around and seems to really enjoy his company. Previous to being rescued, she was living outdoors, and since arriving to her foster home, she has shown some leash reactivity/excitability when seeing other dogs that results in her getting hyped up. She has struggled with initial meetings with unfamiliar dogs and requires slow and controlled introductions. Unfortunately we may not be able to have her participate in a dog-to-dog meet prior to adoption in a safe way. If her future home has another pet, we would suggest doing a very slow separation/integration in order to introduce and integrate her into the home with other dogs. She would also do just fine as an only pet! She is working hard with her foster mom with her leash skills, because she does get quite excited when seeing other dogs on walks. Maybelline was undergoing heartworm treatment, but has since COMPLETED THEM! She is no longer on restricted exercise and can continue to being a regular dog and living her best life! Maybelline is starting to attend some training sessions with her foster mom now she has recovered from treatments. Her future home will benefit from working on leash manners, relationship building and basic obedience skills and our rescue is happy to provide resources and financially support some training sessions for her future family! We think May May would thrive in a home that is lowkey and with a family that would spoil and love her endlessly She's a pretty quiet girl with great manners, and is looking to explore/learn a whole new world of love and adventure with her new family!
