Hi there! I`m Beau, the coolest and chillest canine you`ll ever meet. While I may be a big guy, don`t let my size fool you - I`m really just a big ol` cuddle bug at heart. My favorite thing to do is to snuggle up on the couch with my favorite human and take a nice, long nap. I may be calm, but I sure do love to play fetch and chase squirrels in the backyard! If you`re looking for a loyal, loving, and low-maintenance pup, then I`m your guy. Strawberry Short Cake was born around 7/12/23 and is a low rider. With a block head and stubby legs, she couldn't be cuter!She gets her confidence from other dogs and wants a doggie friend in her new home. A fenced yard is also ideal to allow her to fufill her doggy duties like rolling in the grass, laying in the sun and playing with other dogs. She previously has been overly interested in small animals like cats and chickens, so her ideal home is one without those.In her foster home, she lives with many other dogs of different sizes and does well. She has been house and crate trained there. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and flea and tick preventions. Her adoption fee is $250. All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label. We are looking for help in finding a new home for a sweet ~8-10 year old Beagle/Bassett mix, Chelsea. She is my mother in laws dog, and sadly she is in the hospital and will not be returning home. She rescued Chelsea in March of 2021. Chelsea is a chill dog who loves humans and is looking for her next family that wants to snuggle up on the couch! She is house trained and has also been trained to stay in the yard without leash. Chelsea needs to go to a home where she would be the only dog as she currently is afraid of other dogs (even small ones). She would get along best in a quiet home as she sometimes gets startled by loud or unexpected noises. Please let me know what questions we can answer about this sweet girl!

Our dogs are fostered and physically located in NC until adopted. Once adopted we can transport to your location or any of our other delivery location. This pup was born to a basset hound lab mix mom. She was born 7-1-22. This pup is shy at first. She warms up great though. This pup likes cats and loves other dogs. We have started crate training and potty training. This pup will go home current on vaccines and preventives and microchipped. She is spayed and heartworm tested(negative).This pup will receive a certificate of health issued by our vet prior to transport. The adopter will get all health records with adoption. We require a prescreen application to adopt. You can get that on our website at www.saveamuttkennel.net
