Story
Dixie has been at the shelter for a long time now. Her buddy was adopted and now she’s all by herself for the first time. Dixie is such a goofy fun girl and has the best under bite! Her long ears just flap in the wind when she’s having her zoomies around the yard! She can be a bit dog selective so a meet and greet is required. She has never been around cats before. Does fine with most children! Let’s get this girl adopted before she has her one year stay at the shelter! Dixie was surrendered to the shelter on 10/18/2024 with her friend Buck. They have been getting into trouble and running off, so they had to be surrendered. They just need a little bit of training and taught their boundaries a little better, and they'll be great dogs. They are currently a little nervous, but so sweet and love to follow us around. Dixie is spayed and up to date on all her vaccines. If you would be interested in adding Dixie to your family, her adoption fee is $150 with an approved application.

I am a very gentle, sweet and loving little guy. For my age I do not act it at all... I still have so much energy in me but also love to lounge around as well. I am a major foodie and love to have treats and snacks those are definately a way to my heart! I also speak to you when food is involved because thats how much I love to eat! I have been Neutered, fully vaccinated, and current on preventives. I was 4dx combo tested but tested positive for Lyme and anaplasmosis. They are tick-borne diseases that are treatable with round of antibiotics for a month.
