Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Sally (Ohbassetrescue@yahoo.com) for more information about this pet. Meet Boomer! Boomer is a three year-old Basset hound who came to OBHR due to changes and financial hardships in his former family. He is a great boy, active and loves to play! He did come in with Baylor who was his housemate, however they are not bonded and do not need to be adopted together. He would probably do best with another active young dog to run and play with. Boomer is neutered and up-to-date on all of his shots. He is good with other dogs, cats, and kids. He is housebroken, however might need a little bit of a refresher as his owner was working two jobs before he was relinquished. He will require a home with a fenced in yard. Boomer is currently located in Columbus. His adoption fee is $300. If you are interested in boomer or any of our other dogs, please fill out the online application and once Approved send us an email. ohiobassetrescue.com ohbassetrescue@yahoo.com Adoption Process: Apply online at ohiobassetrescue.com. Applicants who have been approved within 6 months can email us at ohbassetrescue@yahoo.com to schedule a meet. Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Sally (Ohbassetrescue@yahoo.com) for more information about this pet.Meet Rosey! This sweet older gal is looking for a new home through no fault of her own. There were changes in her owners life and they were not able to care for her any longer. Rosey is 9, she is spayed and up to date on all her shots and she recently had her teeth cleaned. However her teeth are not good and at her age we could not keep her under anesthesia long enough to do the extractions needed. She would need to have that spaced out over 2-3 procedures. As long as her new owners are diligent about keeping her teeth cleaned she should be ok for awhile and their vet can determine when and if any more procedures need to take place. Rosey is a sweet girl, crate and house trained, and good with other animals. She weighs approximately 43 pounds. She is located in the Columbus area and does not require a home with a fence. Her adoption fee is $300. If you are interested in Rosey or any of our other dogs please apply online at ohiobassetrescue.com and when approved email ohbassetrescue@yahoo.com. Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Boots! Boots came to us with his seven siblings after their mom had an accidental litter. These poor puppies were living outside and arrived covered in fleas and battling intestinal worms. Despite their rough start, Boots is ready to leave that chapter behind and find his happy-ever-after! Boots is a sweet, playful puppy who loves attention, giving kisses, and being part of whatever is going on. He’s still a puppy, so his new family should be prepared to continue working on training, manners, and all the important lessons that come with growing up. Boots is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and current on flea, heartworm, and tick prevention. His adoption fee is $350. Boots is currently in Texas but can travel to Washington, Portland, Oregon, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, Kentucky, and along the East Coast. If transportation is needed, there is an additional $250 transport fee. Unfortunately, due to state regulations, Boots cannot travel to Rhode Island or Massachusetts. Ready to give this sweet boy the loving home he deserves? Apply to adopt Boots at www.adoggie4you.org Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 10, 2026, 10:00 pm
