Freedom's just another word for nothin' left to lose Nothin', don't mean nothin' hon' if it ain't free, no no And, feelin' good was easy, Lord, when he sang the blues You know, feelin' good was good enough for me Good enough for me and I'm Bobbi Lou. That's the jam folks except freedom in the streets means an empty tummy and that wasn't my jam. MMMM Jam. I like Jam or I bet I would. I like food and it sounds yummy in my tummy. Foster mom keeps the kibble bowl full so I never have hungry belly anymore. I am a Basset/Beagle mix and 7 years old. I'm 28 pounds and probably won't get bigger give or take a few pounds now that I get food everyday. I've been learning so much in my foster home. I do my potty business outside 99% of the time. I seem to like smaller dogs and am unsure about the bigger dogs that live here. Cats also live here and I'm a little growlie when they get in my space but if they leave me alone I'll do the same. They taught me how to go into my crate and that's where I sleep. I would much prefer to stay with my human and I don't take up a bunch of space. I stay in the lap area so you can get maximum pets. Come get me please so I can measure the lap space and make sure I fit. (don't worry I'll fit) Local in the State of Texas 200.00 All Other States/ Canada 400 transport included in fee.

These pups are in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania too!

LOUISE Attributes: Good with kids over 4 Low energy Dog friendly Good in the car House-trained Needs a fence Not best for apartments. Hello, I'm Louise! I am a petite girl, around 20 lbs, and I’m 8-10 years old. Someone dumped me at a farm, and I ended up in a shelter for a little bit until Midwest BREW took me in as a foster. I like my foster home. They have a big couch and a lot of dog beds for me to lay on, and I really like snuggling with the other dogs at the house. I am almost always touching one of them! I love playing with all the squeaky toys in the house. Foster mom says I play very nicely – I don’t try to kill them and eat the stuffing. I just chew on them. I love to play fetch with the toys, and I really like tug of war too! I'm pretty healthy, but I did have to have some teeth pulled, so my foster mom usually wets my kibble a little bit to make it easier for me to eat. I am a mostly low-energy lady. Most of the time, I am content to nap, but I usually like to play in the afternoons or right after dinner. I love to play with toys, but I also like to run around the yard. Foster mom says I am a really fast runner! I am pretty well-behaved in the house. I’ve had a few accidents since I’ve been here, but I’m getting much better about going over to the door when I have to go out. Like all beagles, I am curious about everything and will occasionally try to chew on something that’s not food. I drop it right away when my foster mom said to, and she said that’s really good. I am really good with older kids, but haven't been around little ones. Foster mom isn't sure about how I will do with cats either. I am good in the car. I usually just curl up in the seat and go to sleep. Foster mom keeps me in a harness with a seatbelt tether so I’m safe, and that works great for me. I love to bark. I howl when my people come home, and I like to bark at the dogs next door. My Foster mom usually makes me come in because I get the other dogs in trouble. I don’t mean to; I am just really excited to meet other dogs! I might not be good in an apartment because of my barking though. I’m a sweet older lady who wants to find her furever home. If you want to know more about me, please talk to Midwest BREW! NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).

Story
Attributes Dog friendly Housetrained Playful Snuggly Bonded Medium energy Good with kids over 4 Will potty on leash Good on car rides Get ready to welcome double the love into your life with these two inseparable best friends! This bonded pair is looking for a forever home where they can stay together and continue their adventures. Meet Zoey, the Cautious Explorer: Zoey is approximately 1 year old and 22 pounds. She is quite shy and a bit skittish at first, but once she is comfortable, she is a bundle of playful energy with a tiny bit of mischievousness. She loves toys, balls, and bones, and likes to take them to her own personal space as her prizes. She also likes paper and cardboard. Zoey is very good with other dogs and enjoys running and playing with them. Zoey is experiencing lots of new things, which can be scary sometimes. She looks to Dolly for confidence and security, and she also likes to have a den-like area where she can retreat to when she needs a little extra time to feel safe. Zoey is a very cute, sweet, and happy girl who will meet you with lots of tail wagging and ball playing! Meet Dolly, the Sweet and Gentle Protector: Dolly is approximately 2 years old and 23 pounds. She is the picture of sweetness and affection. She loves snuggling up on the couch for a good cuddle or following you around the house like a devoted shadow. Dolly watches over Zoey and is her silent protector. Dolly is very good with other dogs. She enjoys being part of a pack, running at the dog park, chasing balls, and exploring. She can be a bit cautious and skittish with new things,s but gradually gets acclimated. Dolly greets her people with pure joy, tail wagging and wonderful, gentle hugs. These two are true buddies. They love cuddling up together and exploring the world side-by-side. Adopting them as a pair means you get to experience the double dose of love and companionship that only a bonded pair can offer. These girls would do best in a patient and loving home where they can gradually be introduced to new things. They would love a yard with a fenced yard for safe playtime, exploration, running, and gaining confidence in their surroundings. They would do fine joining a larger pack, and they would welcome lots of belly rubs, affection, toys, exercise,e and most importantly, being with a family that will love them forever. NOTE: Dogs may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).

CORI Attributes Dog friendly Playful Housetrained Good in cars High energy Requires a fence Adult-only home preferred Cori is a sweet girl who will be 8 years old in May. She is adorable with her slight underbite and snaggle tooth. It is obvious that Cori had a charmed life and was very spoiled by her previous doggy-mom. Unfortunately, Cori's Mom passed away, and now she is looking for a forever home where she can be spoiled again. Cori is great in cars and fully house trained. She is a high-energy dog and loves playing with other dogs. She would love regular play time with other dogs, especially in a doggy day care situation. Cori can be anxious and would do best in a quiet home with a fenced yard and without young children. NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).
