Meet Frannie. Frannie was surrendered by a backyard breeder after all of her puppies were born deceased. She didn't even have a name and we were told she was a very fat beagle that was only 3 years old. This sweet girl looks more like a basset beagle mix to us and more like 6-7 years old. She does weigh about 50 lbs. Frannie is a wonderful dog that gets along with everyone. She is a very happy go lucky girl and does great with the other dogs in her foster home and also does well with kids. She does seem to be housebroken in a foster home with a fenced in yard. Frannie is now spayed,  had a dental cleaning and her cherry eyes fixed. Her adoption fee is $250.00. Bucatini (approx 3 year old bassador) is one of the sweetest, snuggliest dogs I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. She is in need of a forever home where she can be an only dog, and snuggle her humans. Buca came to me about a year ago, after being a stray in rural Texas. I am her first mom, and first real home. Because of this, she guards her humans and resources from other dogs, and despite training still struggles with sharing her space with her brother. She deserves to be an only dog. She is crate trained, house broken, food motivated, small(ish), great with grooming needs, and just so sweet. She's got a personality for days. Buca does struggle with leash reactivity, and dog parks are a no go. But the leash reactivity has improved immensely with positive reinforcement training. She is smart and wants to please. For Adoption:This sweet girl showed up at a home in TN. She was definitely someone’s lost dog, as she is too good of a dog not to have been!  Our rescue partner, Carol, took her to the vet and she is microchipped and has a spay tattoo. Carol has called, texted, and emailed the previous owner with no response yet. If an owner does not come forward soon, this sweetheart will be available for adoption.Thank you for your interest in rescue. When Irish eyes are smiling, does that mean they are happy? Or maybe they had too many pints at the pub? My eyes are smiling, and I am a non drinker, just want to have full disclosure here! Even though my eyes were smiling in these pictures. I was desperate for help for my little one, Lewis. You see, he was dying...full of internal and external parasites he really had no fight left in him and I knew it as his mother... so I used my Irish eyes to get us saved. AND IT WORKED!! Our lives are do amazing now, Lewis is alive and well after some very intense care, and ADOPTED INTO AN AMAZING HOME!!! I am not ever producing more babies, so it is all good! Now I get my turn for love, comfort and safety and a FOREVER HOME!! I am an adorable girl, about 50# of low-rider basset/heeler-ness. I am great with other dogs and like to play keep away! Poor Irene has been diagnosed with Cushing disease and will require cushings medication for the rest of her life. With her Cushing Irene pees alot very frequently. She needs someone that will take her out every couple hours to pee. She sometimes needs to pee in between so foster mom has xlarge size pee pads inside which  she will go on. Also the same with overnight. She can't hold it an entire night even though she is on meds. She is on 2 different kinds of meds and requires a test every couple months to make sure meds are regulated. She is so sweet and friendly. She walks perfectly on a leash. She likes to be petted and be with people. She is great with other dogs and pigs. ** LOCAL CENTRAL PA APPLICATIONS ONLY **Her adoption donation includes spaying, vaccinations, implanting of a microchip, application of flea meds and worming.
