He was underweight, covered in fleas and ticks, and very weak. Once we got him to our vet we found that he was anemic, the fleas had sucked all of his blood. He is also heartworm positive, and he’s started the beginning of heartworm treatment. He’s feeling so much better and is on the path to good health! Orville is feeling better now, and his personality has started to show. He shows signs of being abused. He is not going to be a good first dog for someone, and he will need someone who’s dog savvy, and will give him space to settle in his environment.

Meet Gimli! ❤️ He's the sweetest, most energetic boy who loves cuddles, toys, bones, and prancing around the yard. He's a big baby who even flops to the ground for kisses from his oldest housemate!I'm looking for an experienced, active person or couple who will take him hiking and provide the attention, patience, and positive-reinforcement training he deserves. He's anxious, has limited socialization with other dogs, and can occasionally become reactive or defensive. He needs someone experienced who will help build his confidence.I'm also open to rehoming his aunt Bella, a beagle. I'd love to keep them together, though I understand that may not be possible. They're wonderful dogs who listen well, but being one person caring for three has become overwhelming over the past year and a half.This decision breaks my heart. I just want them to have the lives they deserve. If for ANY reason things didn't work out, I would happily welcome them back, no questions asked. ❤️

Buster was found on a Ranch just roaming around. After numerous attempts to locate his owner, there was no luck. The Ranch hand took him in, but could no longer keep him because of his other 3 Dogs. Buster is a little shy at first, but the people that had him said he had no problem snuggling up and sleeping with them at night after he got comfortable with them. He’s a very sweet dog and his tail is wagging constantly. If you can find it in your heart to open your home to him, he would love to make you happy.
