Now this sweet senior boy is safe at Heal Animal Rescue, quietly waiting for a soft place to land — a calm, loving home where he can spend his golden years surrounded by kindness, comfort, and unconditional love. Like his former owner, Charlie has some medical challenges of his own. He has a heart condition that requires daily medication and routine veterinary monitoring. These simple measures help keep him comfortable and enjoying each day, but he will need a family willing to commit to his care and cherish every moment they’re given together. Charlie adores people and greets every human with a loving heart. He does well with other calm dogs and would thrive in a peaceful, adult-only home where he can relax, nap, and soak up all the affection he’s been missing. This medium-sized sweetheart has spent much of her life being a devoted mama to a few litters of puppies, and now it’s her turn to be someone’s baby. Dolly is hands-down the biggest cuddler. she will happily snuggle as much as you let her. She truly thrives when she’s close to her people so A home where she isn’t left alone for long periods would be her dream come true. She enjoys nice walks and is doing great with both house training and crate training. Dolly is good with other dogs, while cats are unknown. Any kids in the home should be older. Dolly is the kind of dog who will follow you from room to room, curl up beside you after a walk, and make your house feel like home. She’s basically the off-road model of a best friend: compact, sturdy, and always ready for an adventure. Gypsy LOVES her walks and is getting better and better on leash every day. She’s happiest when she’s outside, exploring the yard, supervising chores, or keeping an eye out for squirrels (her self-appointed job, and she takes it very seriously). When playtime winds down, she’s just as content following her favorite human around like a loyal little shadow. She’s playful, affectionate, and full of goofy charm. Toys are fun.
