Story
While his namesake might be the fastest man alive, this Flash is a simple man who truly understands the value of a slow-motion lifestyle. If you’re looking for a dog to run a marathon with, keep walking—but if you’re looking for a professional lounge-about, you’ve found your man. Flash is currently coming out of his shell and operates on a very efficient three-speed transmission: Deep Sleep: He’s a gold medalist in napping. Fine Dining: He never misses a meal. Garden Patrol: He enjoys a leisurely wander around the backyard. He is a gentleman on the leash and prefers "sniffari" strolls over power walks. When he’s done exploring, he’s happy to retreat to his "fort" (his kennel), where he feels safe and relaxed. He’s been working hard on his house manners and hasn't had an accident in days! Flash is looking for a patient home where he can continue to blossom at his own, very comfortable, pace.

Story
Hera was running the streets, pregnant, scared and just about ready to give birth. Thanks to some wonderful people, they were able to trap her and get her to us so she didn't have to have her babies in the freezing cold. She gave birth to six beautiful puppies in December and has been busy in mom mode. She came to us scared and timid, and has been learning that humans aren't so bad, especially when they have pieces of chicken to share. While still skittish around new people, she is a sweet girl once you gain her trust. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an application.  We do allow out of state adoptions and any transport costs are at the expense of the adopter.  If you have further questions about this dog, please email us at ccradopt@gmail.com and someone will be in touch as soon as possible. Please note we are unable to hold dogs for adopters as this ties up valuable foster homes. Please understand that we are an all volunteer group and we have jobs outside of this organization.  We do our best to provide quick responses but occasionally they are a little slower.  If you do not receive a response in 48 hours, please resend to make sure it's received. ##2604168##

Story
She’s so pretty! Jessie Jane is shy but such a sweet girl. She comes out of her shell quickly and then you get to see her goofy, playful side. She is settling into her foster home and learning how to dog. Jessie would love another canine in her forever home. She can be nervous around kids but we think she’d be fine with older children. She just needs some time to learn the routine and know she’s safe. And she’s worth it! If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an application.  We do allow out of state adoptions and any transport costs are at the expense of the adopter.  If you have further questions about this dog, please email us at ccradopt@gmail.com and someone will be in touch as soon as possible. Story
Fievel came to us with two large masses on his back. We had them removed when he was neutered and happy to report the masses were benign! His scars are healing up and we’re working on helping him shed a few lbs. He loves to lay outside in the sun and sleep in his foster mom’s bed each night. He does great with other dogs and enjoys his daily walks with his canine friends. Fievel is calm yet stubborn. He is quiet inside and outside will sound the alarm if there is anything that catches his attention in the yard. Your typical complex, yet highly lovable beagle! **This dog is heartworm positive and will be treated by the rescue and will be available for foster to adopt for a local family in or near Charleston, SC that is comfortable with the restriction requirements for the duration of treatment.
