Story
This handsome lemon beagle is a shy guy, but warms up fairly quickly to us humans. He was brought to a shelter after his foot was caught in a fox trap. He's settling in to a foster home, learning all the ins and outs of being a well-loved canine. He does find comfort with his foster siblings and would do best in a home with another dog. Gumbo is new to the rescue and we will update his bio as we learn more about him. **This dog is heartworm positive and will be treated by the rescue and will be available for foster to adopt for a local family in or near Charleston, SC that is comfortable with the restriction requirements for the duration of treatment. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an application.  We do allow out of state adoptions and any transport costs are at the expense of the adopter.  If you have further questions about this dog, please email us at ccradopt@gmail.com and someone will be in touch as soon as possible. Please note we are unable to hold dogs for adopters as this ties up valuable foster homes. Please understand that we are an all volunteer group and we have jobs outside of this organization.  We do our best to provide quick responses but occasionally they are a little slower.  If you do not receive a response in 48 hours, please resend to make sure it's received. ##2324813##
