Story
A beagle on wheels!  The smile on Margot's face would never reveal the horrors that got her to where she is today.  Margot was surrendered to the shelter with no use of her rear end after she had been dragging herself around for FOUR MONTHS!  She had the sores and rashes to prove it.  While we will never know what happened to her, we know that she has a will to thrive and live her very best life!  She is currently going to physical therapy twice a week to see if she can regain some function of her rear legs, but she is adapting well to her wheelchair and loves her evening walks, where she is quite the neighborhood celebrity :) Margot does need to have her bladder expressed 3-4 times per day as she does not seem to have the ability to urinate on her own readily.  But she doesn't mind at all! If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an application.  We do allow out of state adoptions and any transport costs are at the expense of the adopter.  If you have further questions about this dog, please email us at ccradopt@gmail.com and someone will be in touch as soon as possible.
