If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225   . We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations. He knows how to sit, come, and walks quite well on a leash. George is a big snuggler too. He won't move an inch as long as you're around with a few good rubs here and there on his very soft fur. The more the merrier seems to be his motto! George loves attention, especially from kids. He does well with other dogs and doesn't mind cats one bit (even if the cat doesn't like George)! Don't let George's age fool you, though primarily chill as a cucumber, if you want to play - George wants to play with you! He'll always follow your lead... and your feet. When Irish eyes are smiling, does that mean they are happy? Or maybe they had too many pints at the pub? My eyes are smiling, and I am a non drinker, just want to have full disclosure here! Even though my eyes were smiling in these pictures. I was desperate for help for my little one, Lewis. You see, he was dying...full of internal and external parasites he really had no fight left in him and I knew it as his mother... so I used my Irish eyes to get us saved. AND IT WORKED!! Our lives are do amazing now, Lewis is alive and well after some very intense care, and ADOPTED INTO AN AMAZING HOME!!! I am not ever producing more babies, so it is all good! Now I get my turn for love, comfort and safety and a FOREVER HOME!! I am an adorable girl, about 50# of low-rider basset/heeler-ness. I am great with other dogs and like to play keep away! I am ready when you are, do your stuff so we can ride off into the sunset, in air conditioning, of course! Midge is a very gentle Basset Hound and Chinese Shar pei mix looking for a forever home. She was taken in from a bad hoarding situation and is now doing living in a REAL foster home with other happy and loved friends and food and medical care too!! I am learning everyday what it means to be man's best friend and it is pretty sweet :) Midge came to the rescue with little hair and skin infections and entropion on both eyes (meaning her eyelashes were scraping her eyes every minute of every day..... think about how miserable it is to have ONE eyelash in your eye ;( and STILL a sweet and loving personality, despite how she was physically. The rescue fixed all my stuff up and now I have gorgeous, shiny and thick black fur and my eyes don't hurt anymore!!! She would be best in a home with another calm and confident dog. No food issues, couchy potato in training!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
