But don`t let my laid-back attitude fool you - once I get to know you, I can be the most loving and loyal companion you`ve ever met.One of my favorite things to do is go for walks that lead to new smells and adventures. It`s like every step is a new opportunity to explore the world and discover something new. And if you really want to get my attention, just bring along some tasty treats. I can`t resist a good snack!Believe it or not, I`m a lot smaller than you might think. But what I lack in size, I make up for in heart. And when it comes to riding in a car, I`m an absolute pro. I love feeling the wind in my fur and watching the world go by outside.Ask anyone who knows me and they`ll tell you what a good boy I am. I walk beautifully on a leash and always listen to the humans that I know and trust. I may be slow and steady, but I`m also reliable and trustworthy - a true friend for life. Delta, Looking at her pictures, you'd never know she came in looking like a train wreck. This poor dog lived on the streets for years and she sure looked it when she came in. Those days are behind her now and she is ready to roll on to the next chapter. Delta is a around 6 yrs old and weighs close to 50 lbs and she is very true to her breed. She is a stubborn Basset Hound who will keep you laughing every day. We enjoy her antics around here and love watching her and her boyfriend Mack play. Delta was treated for heartworms and is currently being treated for Chagas disease. Don't let that worry you.... she is doing great and strong as a bull. She is doing great on treatment! She gets along best with male dogs but can coexisit with male or female if its the right dog. 
 Every dog adopted through Tracy’s Paws receives: • Chagas, heartworm, and tick testing (when age-appropriate) • All core vaccines (age-appropriate) • Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives • Regular Deworming • Spay/neuter surgery • Microchip

Delta is a strong-willed 5-6 year-old who weighs 48 pounds. She is like a Mack truck with short, stubby legs. She is stubborn and as strong as an ox. Think Basset Hound with a mystery twist Delta was found on the streets of the Rio Grande Valley, with scars all over her body. She had a hard life which made her the tough dog that she is. She has an old hip injury that doesn't alter her ability to walk or run. She has been through a lot and is ready for her forever home. She will require a tough owner that is willing to train her and make her the best dog she can be. Are you just as stubborn and want things to go your way? If so, then Delta is the gal for you ! She is loving, but would do best in a home where she can be the only dog with her person. She told us she prefers to be spoiled and live her life in the AC on a couch without other dogs to bother her. She will keep you laughing with her crazy antics. She will give you endless loyalty, laughs and love. She is located at our rescue in Hondo, Texas. Meet the sweetest boy! Oliver is estimated to be around 9 months old. He is fully vaccinated, current on preventions, and neutered. Oliver was a street rescue, dumped by his previous owners as a puppy. Oliver jumped from house to house looking for food and water. Thankfully and good samaritan stepped in, and thats when we got the call! Oliver wants nothing more than to be best friends with anyone and anything he meets! He loves to give kisses and cuddles. He doesn't even require a treat in return! Oliver is potty trained and leash trained. We think he would thrive in any home environment! Please reach out to learn more or schedule a meet and greet!

Max is a very loving and affectionate dog. He loves butt/back scratches and likes to occasionally chew on toys. True to his Beagle nature he is scent driven and will try to run out the front door or gate if given the opportunity. At 6.5 years old (birthday is 2-15-2019), Max still loves to play and roam the backyard but he enjoys being a couch potato and just wants to be around people. Max would thrive in a home that is able to provide lots of attention. He LOVES people and children and is indifferent towards other dogs; he's usually a Beta when in a group. Max went to Petco Puppy Training class in 2019 and knows how to sit and lay down. He is also housebroken and will potty outside. Only behavior issue is he does bark a lot, especially when he hears something outside (true to his Beagle nature). Max is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, & he's on heartworm and flea/tick preventative.
