Once he feels comfortable, his gentle personality really shines through. Delta...Looking at her pictures, you'd never know she came in looking like a train wreck. This poor dog lived on the streets for years and she sure looked it when she came in. Those days are behind her now and she is ready to roll on to the next chapter. Delta is around 6 yrs old and weighs close to 50 lbs and she is very true to her breed. She is a stubborn Basset Hound who will keep you laughing every day. We enjoy her antics around here and love watching her play. Delta was treated for heart worms and is currently being treated for Chagas disease. Don't let that worry you.... she is doing great and strong as a bull. She is doing great on treatment! She gets along best with male dogs but can co-exisit with male or female if its the right dog. Delta is located at our shelter near San Antonio, TX and is available for transport to Chelsea, MI on June 20th with approved application and confirmed adoption. Her adoption fee is $450. The fee includes transport cost.   Every dog adopted through Tracy’s Paws receives: • Chagas, heart worm, and tick testing (when age-appropriate) • All core vaccines (age-appropriate) • Heart-worm and flea/tick preventatives • Regular De-worming • Spay/neuter surgery • Microchip   Breed listings are our best guess, based on appearance.
