Story
Meet Ruby!  Ruby is a beautiful 8-month-old Beagle/Cattle Dog mix weighing about 35 lbs, with soulful eyes that could melt even the iciest of hearts. She may be a little shy at first, like a quiet note at the beginning of a song, but once she warms up, her sweet and loving personality truly shines. This little lady has mastered the art of the “sad puppy dog look” to absolute perfection. One glance and you’ll be wrapped around her paw! When she feels safe and at home, Ruby blossoms into a playful, happy pup who loves to have fun. Ruby is quite vocal and enjoys expressing herself, but she settles nicely. She is also housebroken , which is a wonderful bonus for her future family. She gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and kids , making her a great fit for many different types of homes. Ruby is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on prevention , and she’s ready to find the forever family she’s been waiting for. Adoption fee: $350 Could Ruby be the missing piece your family has been looking for? August 25, 2026, 4:10 pm

Story
Meet Dolly – A True Survivor Ready for Her Forever Home! Some dogs have a story that reminds us just how resilient they are, and Dolly is one of them. Several months ago, Dolly was found as a stray after being struck by a car. She was taken to Catoosa County Animal Shelter, where they immediately worked with rescue partners to get her the emergency care she desperately needed. Dolly spent a week in the ER before we learned she had suffered a broken pelvis and would require 8–10 weeks of strict crate rest to heal. She spent those weeks with us, and through it all, she never lost her sweet spirit. Once she was fully healed, Dolly earned a spot in our incredible training program at Walker State Prison. There, her dedicated handlers poured their hearts into helping her grow, and Dolly soaked up every lesson. At graduation, she made us all proud by earning the highest score in her class! Dolly has waited so long for this moment, and now she's finally ready to find the family she's always deserved. Around 4 years old Beagle mix Heartworm negative Current on vaccines and preventions Knows basic obedience thanks to her amazing handlers Ready to be your loyal best friend Dolly has overcome pain, months of recovery, and a long wait. Now all she needs is someone to give her the happy ending she's been waiting for. Could that someone be you? Please help us find Dolly the forever home she has worked so hard to reach.
