This is Homer, a 7-year-old Dachshund/Beagle mix who was found roaming the streets with his pal, Marge. These two are so close that they must be adopted together. They love each other and are very loyal. A bonded pair, we will not adopt them out separately. Homer is dog friendly, playful and he loves to be held. So sweet! Meet Delilah! Delilah loves wagging her tail. She is a happy little girl. She would be best in a home with dogs of approximate or smaller size than her. She is a little reserved when she is around dogs that are bigger in size than her. Delilah gets along just fine with cats. She came into rescue needing heartworm treatment, has been treated, cleared, and just had another negative heartworm test. She is on monthly prevention and just had her vaccinations updated as well. She will let you know when she is ready to eat (LOL) and is completely potted trained. She does not like spending much time outdoors as she likes to do her business and come almost straight back in. Story
Meet Coop, a teenage beagle/dachshund mix with lots of personality and confidence in a little low-rider body.  Coop is playful, super friendly and totally unfazed by the fact all his friends are bigger than him. He loves to zoom around the yard and have all his doggy friends chase him.  Coop is likely full grown at 8-9 months old and approximately 30 lbs. He has a beagle body and demeanor, and a dachshund face, but he may also have other breeds in the mix.  Coop was a stray who spent almost two months at the shelter before his foster mom brought him home. While we don’t know his past, Coop acts as if nothing bad has ever happened to him. He’s a confident little fella who greets every dog and human he meets with lots of love, including kids. He’s super affectionate and loves to cuddle and give kisses.  Coop is a very well-adjusted boy and would be an easy addition to almost any home. He’s potty trained, crate trained and walks great on a leash. He would do well in an apartment with an active owner who wants to walk him and take him to run around at the dog park. Or he would do great paired with another playful dog at a home with a big fenced-in yard. Coop is energetic, but he is happy to chill after his morning walk or playtime. He’s a really good boy who could easily be taken along for all of life’s adventures!
