Story
Lily Bean is a rescue about 5 years old. I adopted her a year ago. I did ancestry and she's mostly beagle with German shepherd dog as the second most prominent mix. She would do best in a home with another dog. She's great with my nephew (24mo) and when I visit friends with dogs once she got to know the dogs (couple of visits) she plays with them the rest of the time.A cool surface to lounge on is her favorite. She likes hard chews and fish flavored treats. Thunderstorms dont bother her, just give her a window because she loves to people watch. Lol

Story
Meet Pretzel — A Smart, Spunky Boy with a Heart as Big as His Personality If you’re looking for a dog who will keep you laughing, keep you moving, and then happily curl up beside you at the end of the day, look no further than Pretzel! This fun-loving Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle mix is incredibly smart, full of energy, and has a personality that is impossible not to love. Pretzel is always ready for an adventure! He loves running, playing outside, going for walks, and exploring everything the world has to offer. Whether he’s racing around the yard, investigating something interesting on a walk, or playing with his people, Pretzel loves staying busy and being part of the action. And this boy is smart! Pretzel knows several commands, including sit, leave it, drop it, and take, and he absolutely loves interacting with his people. He enjoys having a job to do and learning new things, so continuing his training would be a great way to keep his clever mind entertained while strengthening his bond with his family. But underneath all that energy is a total sweetheart. Once the adventure is over, Pretzel is more than happy to switch gears and become a professional snuggler. He loves belly rubs, cuddles, and relaxing next to his people. His favorite place at the end of a busy day is wherever his family is. Pretzel is also a social guy who does well with other dogs, people, and children. He can be protective of his home and will happily let you know when someone unfamiliar is nearby, but once he gets the chance to meet someone and realizes they’re a friend, he’s ready to welcome them into his circle. Pretzel would love an active family who will include him in their adventures and give him plenty of opportunities to run, play, explore, and burn off his energy. A fenced yard would be a wonderful bonus, but what matters most is having people who will keep his body active, his mind engaged, and his heart full. Pretzel is the whole package—a playful adventurer, a clever student, a loyal companion, and an absolute cuddle bug. He has tons of personality and even more love to give. If you’re ready for a best friend who will happily join you for an adventure and then come home for belly rubs, Pretzel is ready to meet you! If you're interested in meeting Pretzel, please contact Crystal at (210) 997-4575. Disclaimer: All pets posted and adopted through Neighborhood Pets are not members of Paws Humane Society. Pet info, adoption cost/detail information below: PET DESCRIPTION:  Copeland is a six-month-old (as of 1st of Sep) male Hound - not going to be as big as a pure Walker so why we think could be a Walker/Beagle mix.  At six months he is about 35 lbs, so should be max 45 lbs when fully grown.  Great pup, typical happy go lucky hound, great with other dogs, loves everyone.   DOG ADOPTION FEE is $100. This Adoption fee includes: mandatory spay/neuter which will be done before you can take your dog or puppy home with you; basic canine immunizations (DHPP-CPV & Bordatella Intranasal); de-wormings; one-year rabies vaccination if old enough; heartworm test if over five months old; microchip from 24-Pet Watch (and we register the chip at time of the adoption); certificate for free health examination at your participating veterinarian; and a goodie bag chocked full of information, toys, and more.  (If a dog is sponsored or has a waived or lower fee, that info will be provided at the point of adoption to the approved adopter).
