Female; 10-yr-old Beagle mix; 28 lbs. House trained. Hazel is a smart, healthy, spunky little girl. Her soulful eyes are very endearing. Sometimes medium energy level; other times low energy level. Great at dog park & boarding. Enjoys pets & rubs; doesn't demand them. She LOVES car rides, head out the window; ears blowing in the wind! Needs to be on a leash when outside or in a securely fenced area. Generally, she is a low maintenance pup. Will let you know when she needs something; (i.e. potty, food). She alerts when an animal/person is outside the house. She does become anxious during thunderstorms and fireworks. She is on an inexpensive prescription medication that curbs her anxiety to a large degree when this happens. She needs her caregiver to be home during these times to keep her from panicking. At all other times, she can be left at home unattended with no problems.

Meet Lady! Lady is a sweet, affectionate dog who has been with us for the past three months. She’s potty trained, crate trained, and gets along well with both dogs and cats. Lady loves to play, cuddle, and truly believes she’s a lap dog! She also enjoys car rides and is very food-motivated, which makes her fun and easy to work with.Lady came to us as a temporary foster from a previous home that couldn’t give her the time and attention she needed. While we were happy to help, we’re now looking for the right permanent home where she can continue to thrive. She would do best in a loving home where she can get plenty of attention and affection. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful companion, Lady could be a perfect fit for your family.

Do you need a velcro AND social butterfly dog in your life? If you said “absolutely!” Well do we have the dog for you! Lilac is a young, petite pup who absolutely adores people! Which people? ALL people! She wants to be your BFF and is also happy to be everyone else’s too. Her only caveat? No kitties please! She is just a little too much for them. We think she is crossed with lab/border collie/beagle and possibly corgi? But who knows It would make sense for her energy level though! It isn’t that she needs to run a marathon or do sport work like an elite breed. She just LOVES life and her energy shows you that. Lilac would be perfectly happy just following you around all day long. Going to the bathroom? Twins! Going to the couch or to bed? Her too! Going outside? Samesies! With that being said, Lilac would prefer someone who works from home/is home frequently and does not live in an apartment. She can be vocal when you leave her (possibly from being dumped and/or because of her genetics). We are working on crate training and she does sleep in her crate all night without a peep, but when you initially go out of sight she highly objects! If it were up to her, you would be attached at the hip Lilac is also very dog friendly but does not need a dog in order to be happy! She just wants her person/family. Someone who will never abandon her again. She needs and deserves forever If you are as obsessed with Lilac as we are, please fill out a pre adopt app! ##2732397##
