Riley is a 7-year-old beagle who will steal your heart! She’s great with other dogs and adores children, making her a perfect companion for a family or a home with other pets. Riley has a submissive and patient personality, especially with younger dogs who are still learning their manners. She’s house trained, walks well on a leash and harness, and loves to please her person. Riley responds beautifully to praise and thrives on affection, she’s a true “velcro dog” who loves being the center of attention. She’s also been around a cat (though never unsupervised) and can usually be found snoozing in her bed or any type of basket, like a laundry basket, during the daytime. Riley is fully cared for and healthy — she’s up to date on vaccinations, on flea/tick/heartworm medication, spayed, microchipped, and recently had a dental cleaning. Riley does have some anxiety from prior trauma, so she requires medication if crated. She’s happiest when allowed to be part of the action and will need a patient adopter to give her time to adjust. She also has a unique bark/bray that adds to her charming personality. If you’re looking for a devoted, affectionate, and fun-loving companion who will adore you endlessly, Riley is ready to meet her forever family. Female; 10-yr-old Beagle mix; 28 lbs. House trained. Hazel is a smart, healthy, spunky little girl. Her soulful eyes are very endearing. Sometimes medium energy level; other times low energy level. Great at dog park & boarding. Enjoys pets & rubs; doesn't demand them. She LOVES car rides, head out the window; ears blowing in the wind! Needs to be on a leash when outside or in a securely fenced area. Generally, she is a low maintenance pup. Will let you know when she needs something; (i.e. potty, food). She alerts when an animal/person is outside the house. She does become anxious during thunderstorms and fireworks. She is on an inexpensive prescription medication that curbs her anxiety to a large degree when this happens. She needs her caregiver to be home during these times to keep her from panicking. At all other times, she can be left at home unattended with no problems.

Lady has only been with us about three months and unfortunately, my allergies with lady and my other two dogs have become so bad that we are needing to rehome them. Lady is potty trained and crate trained previously she lived with a family with small children who could not give her the time that she needed. She does well with cats other dogs lady loves food and she loves to play and cuddle lady think she is a lapdog and she loves car rides.
