Meet Alex — 7 years old and SUCH a good boy! Alex is a sweet Beagle mix who truly loves everyone he meets—including other dogs and even cats! He’s potty trained, walks great on a leash, and would love a home where he can enjoy safe outdoor adventures followed by his favorite thing—a soft spot on the couch close to his humans. Alex does have an allergy to chicken, so he needs chicken-free kibble and an inexpensive daily prescription to keep him feeling his best. We promise, this wonderful boy is definitely worth it! Apply to adopt Alex at HeberSpringsHumaneSociety.com Alex's adoption fee is $125 and includes first vaccinations, deworming, microchip, and neuter. We have a dog park to check compatibility with possible sibling dogs. Please fill out an adoption application at HeberSpringsHumaneSociety.com and a volunteer will contact you in 2-3 days. The adoption application is NOT on Adopt a Pet and must be completed on the Heber Springs Humane Society website.

If interested in this pet,  go to stonecountyhumanesociety.org and fill out an adoption application.    Tucker was abandoned as a pup and picked up by the Sheriff's Dept. He has been in their care for a few months and has become super friendly and lovable. Tucker loves people and gives hugs. He is gentle and not too rowdy for his young age. Tucker would make a great pet for an active family or person as he is very active himself. He does have that hound in him and always has his nose to the ground, following scents. He is mostly house trained - can't hold it overnight yet, but he is learning! He is a VERY smart pup and will someone very happy.   UPDATE:  Tucker just entered the Paws in Prison Program in Calico Rock.  He will be trained for 8 weeks. He will receive obedience training, house trained, crate trained and learn alot of tricks too.  He will graduate the end of November.  Call to schedule visits now.  If you would like to give this sweetheart a loving home, please go to stonecountyhumanesociety.org and fill out an adoption application.
