All pups under the age of 6wks will not be available for adoption until the rescue feels they are ready to leave. All those who are interested are welcome to apply. Once approved, you will be asked to put down a $100 deposit to hold the pup. Deposits are nonrefundable, unless NovaStar Rescue finds the dog is no longer adoptable. All deposits will go directly toward adoption fees.  Foster-to-adopt option is available on a case by case circumstance.  All dogs have age appropriate vaccines including Distemper, Parvo, and Rabies. All dogs are spayed or neutered, and wormed for parasites. Older puppies and adults are tested for heartworms and treated if found to be positive. NovaStar is a 501C3 non-profit rescue that receives no monetary help from local, state or federal entities. All adoption fees go straight to our vets to help pay for the veterinary care and other expenses related to the care of all the dogs in the rescue. Other than adoption fees, NovaStar is financed exclusively by donations and an occasional grantAdoption fees: Adults 1 year and older: $150Seniors 6 years and older: $75Puppies 0 to 6 months old: $295 to $350, dependent on breedPuppies 6 months to 1 year: $200Transport is available from Arkansas with stops in Tennessee, Pennsylvania, NY, NJ, and Connecticut.
