Rowdy is a little shy with new people. Shes great with all dogs she meets and would be best on a home with another dog to help her adjust. Rowdy is curious in new situations, but life up until recently, hasnt been kind to her..... so she will need time to get comfortable and then her true goofy nature will emerge! Like a butterfly, Rowdy is a much different pup than when she 1st came to us from the pound, with no hope of getting out :( UNTIL the rescue chick saw me and knew i was a diamond in the RUFF ;) Rowdy needs a patient home who will give her time to warm up, open up & trust. Older kids only would be best for her and a fully fenced yard is a must. Until she settles in she'll be an escape risk. An apartment would work for Rowdy as well. Lucy is a very sweet dog. We took her in two months ago due to my grandmother's health concerns. Unfortunately Lucy and our dogs we already have do not get along. We have had to take her to the vet for some minor cuts from a fight we had to break up from playing going too far outside. She is on the mend and is taking antibiotics that will be done in a few days. We are actively trying to find her a home with someone who may have another small dog or be in a home with out other dogs. Our dogs are bigger than her and she tends to want to play too much and likes to hog the attention. She loves to play fetch and will wear you out bringing toys for you to toss. Lucy also loves to give hugs. She puts her paws and legs around you and leans in for cuddles. We would prefer the home she will be in have a fenced in yard as that is currently what she is used to. We do have some supplies for her as well. She is currently eating 4health chicken and rice from tractor supply.
