Story
Rowdy is a little shy with new people. Shes great with all dogs she meets and would be best on a home with another dog to help her adjust. Rowdy is curious in new situations, but life up until recently, hasnt been kind to her..... so she will need time to get comfortable and then her true goofy nature will emerge! Like a butterfly, Rowdy is a much different pup than when she 1st came to us from the pound, with no hope of getting out :( UNTIL the rescue chick saw me and knew i was a diamond in the RUFF ;) Rowdy needs a patient home who will give her time to warm up, open up & trust. Older kids only would be best for her and a fully fenced yard is a must. Until she settles in she'll be an escape risk. An apartment would work for Rowdy as well. She is ready for her furever family!! Apply soon! Local adoption only $200, in TX

Story
Cassie, a beagle mix, is one of over forty dogs rescued from a hoarding case in El Paso, AR. Despite entering our program as a shy girl, she has made great strides in just the last couple of months.  Cassie is very sweet and affectionate. She gravitate more towards women and likes children. She is a great couch potato in the house loves to lay around and cuddle…get her outside and she will run the yard like a greyhound!   She is doing really well…kennel trained, probably 90% potty trained we haven’t had an accident in like a week!  She gets along great with all the other dogs.  Cassie‘s a medium sized dog at under 30 pounds. Great size for an apartment or small house living. Local adoption fee for Cassie is $175. It is higher for New England based on the cost of transport and health certificate for interstate travel, so total cost is $400.  ##2763582##

Story
Hi there! My name is Ollie! My life started off pretty crazy. I don’t remember all of the details but my brother and I were sort of famous because we were the talk of social media in our area. People kept posting about these two loose puppies running all over the place (that was us). Everyone was worried we were going to get hit by a car or end up as a coyote snack since there were woods nearby with plenty of coyotes around. Thankfully, some wonderful rescue people heard about us and came to help. At first, they weren’t sure where we were going to go because the rescue didn’t have room for us. But then an experienced foster mom stepped up and said she’d take us both. We hit the jackpot! She taught us all about living in a house and when we mastered house living, we graduated to other fosters and I got lucky again! My foster family now is awesome too! They have kiddos, another canine in the mix AND cats. I LOVE them all including the cats! One thing my foster family likes to brag about is my recall. When I’m off-leash, a whistle or quick cue is usually all it takes, and I come right back. I like to stay close to my people, and I always want to know what they’re up to. Food is one of my favorite things in the world, which makes training pretty easy. I already sit politely before meals, and I’m always excited to learn something new. I’m smart, eager, and I really do want to make my people proud. When it’s time to play, you’ll usually find me carrying around my beloved Lamb Chop toy, chewing on a Nylabone, or working on a peanut butter-filled Kong. When the day winds down, though, I’m happy to switch careers and become a full-time lap dog. My favorite place in the world is wherever my people happen to be. Outside is where I really shine. Hiking trails? Love them. Camping trips? Count me in. Road trips? I make an excellent co-pilot. If your idea of fun involves fresh air and adventure, I’m your guy. At home, I’m working hard on being the best boy I can be. I’m crate trained, although I do reserve the right to share my opinions about bedtime for a minute before settling down. I’m mostly house trained, too. I do have one tiny quirk that my foster family finds both hilarious and slightly inconvenient: laundry. More specifically, socks. And occasionally other clothing items. If you leave them on the floor, I will assume they were placed there for my personal collection. Some people might call it an obsession. I prefer to think of myself as a dedicated laundry inspector. Keeping your clothes picked up is probably a good idea, because my commitment to quality control is unmatched. More than anything, I’m looking for a family to call my own. Someone to go on adventures with, cuddle on the couch with, and love for the rest of my life. I hope you’ll ask to meet me. Love, Ollie
