Spuds is a long legged lemon beagle/lab mix, 7 years old and 40-45 lbs.  He's got a stubbed tail - shelter thought he had some cocker spaniel in him - we don't see it. He has developed some great friendships with other B&B dogs - might help if he was adopted with one of those companions. Very selective of his people - not good with strangers. He will bite. Max Lucas is 10 years old and 30 lbs.  His eyes are hazel. Walks well on a leash and enjoys his walks. He exercises well with most dogs in his area. He came in a few years ago after having had a couple snapping incidents in a foster home. So he will need patience and time to adjust in a new home.  We've worked with him and he has mellowed a lot. He is food motivated - and so he will love anyone that gives him treats!  Go slow and don't surprise him - he does guard his food. 15 lbs. About 6 years old. Louie is 3/4 beagle, 1/4 pug, born 10-27-16. 30 lbs. House trained, leash trained.  In his previous home he was an only dog and did some resource guarding of his food and over the years became protective of his mom with whom he spent his days.  When she was not around, he is great with his dad.   The reason he is needing another home is the arrival of a baby has caused concern with his protectiveness.  He has bit, broken skin in the past...mostly his dad's.  The folks have hired two trainers to help, without success. We want an experienced dog family who will follow our advice; no young children.  OK as your one and only, though at B&B,  he's been pretty calm and quiet, and has mingled nicely with the other dogs. Sammy is an 11 year old beagle, 28 lbs. House trained, leash trained. He's been generally ok with other dogs but can be too nosy with the real little ones (@8 lbs and under) and can also get upset over food. Takes treats nicely. Came from a shelter. In person he actually looks like a lemon beagle - sort of a faded red.....cuz of his age.  As a young guy he may well have been a chocolate tri.  He'd be OK with older kids--not wee ones.  Check out his video. 10 year old beagle/bassets, 45-50 lbs. Jack & Sofee (brother and sister) have been with one family their whole lives.  Family move to an apartment (no yard) and one-year old child have made for difficult living situation. Jack likes to play fetch with his bones and he is also very affectionate. Sofee walks good on the leash and likes getting affection.  The folks love these two seniors and want them to have a home where they can be their most comfortable. Sofee is more social than Jack - he would do well to take CBD and/or Rescue Remedy.  A mix up with a big dog when he was young sort of traumatized him. Jack is on the blue blanket and Sofee is on the red one. Misty is a stray that we picked up to keep her from freezing to death last winter. In the last year she has made leaps & bounds towards healing from the obvious abuse she has been through, but I am now unable to keep her due to an ailing mother who requires most of my care. She needs a home with an abundance of love. Misty is gleefully unaware she is too big to be a lap dog. She likes lazer pointers. She prefers a jacket to go outside, & loves to ride in cars. She gets excited to hear the word Grandma and thinks that no chair is worth sitting in without a soft blankie (she comes with several). Misty doesn't do well around baseball bats, belts, lighters, & will gorge herself if given the opportunity. She will break into outside trash cans if they aren't secured. She really is the best girl, but she struggles to take verbal instructions. She gets scared to mess up & messes up worse, but a patient hand would do well with her. I love her dearly, but life has changed. She needs a new home.

He will make a great family member to any family looking to adopt an awesome puppy. His mom is a beagle mix and his dad is a Dachshund mix.
