Story
We are looking to find a loving new home for our purebred lemon beagle, a 4-year old sweetheart who truly deserves the best! She has a gentle, affectionate personality--playful when she's excited but calm and content relaxing by your side. She loves being outdoors, meeting new dog friends, and sunbathing. She is kennel trained (kennel included), but prefers being out and about with her people. She's wonderful with kids, very social, and thrives in a home where someone is around most of the time. She can be left alone, but ideally no more than 4 hours. She has done exceptionally well with dog sitters in the past. She walks on a leash; but true to her beagle nature, she follows her nose EVERYWHERE--she's a leisurely walker not a fast-paced exercise partner. This has been a very difficult decision for us. We relocated and transitioned to jobs that keep us away from home for long periods. We've already seen how hard that change has been for her. Please reach out about Hazel Mae.

Story
Banjo boy! This guy is an absolute hoot. This guy has only been with us for under a year but we really expected him to find placement easily because of his size and breed! Banjo is a typical hound dog. He’s extremely talkative, he loves to spend time outside, and he loves to dig holes and lay in them. He absolutely HATES being crated. A home where he wouldn’t need to be would be ideal. For being 5-6 years old, he has a ton of energy still! He does well with dogs that are his size. It took him a few days to get used to Puppy but he was never aggressive. He had a big talk but no bite. We cat tested him when he came in and he seems to do fine with them. He seemed kinda scared of them and just walked the other way. Banjo would be an amazing companion for anyone in my opinion. Maybe not with younger kids but aside from that he’s really great! He loves to spend time on the couch with you and when he’s outside he loves to play chase! A home with a fenced yard is required and no apartment homes because he is LOUD. If you don’t like loud dogs, run the other way. If you think banjo would be a good fit for your home, please shoot us a dm so we can get you our dog application! Located in lake city FL.

Story
This handsome older gentleman has all the classic Beagle traits—curious, nose-to-the-ground, and happily vocal when he has something to say! He loves exploring the world around him and will keep you entertained with his signature Beagle bay. He is still working on his leash manners and can be a bit of a puller, so he’ll need a patient adopter willing to help guide him. Due to suspected tracheal sensitivity, he should use a gentle leader or harness instead of a traditional collar to keep him safe and comfortable on walks. He would do best in a calm, understanding home that will give him the time and support he needs while he enjoys his golden years.

Story
Hi, I'm This is Sparta! Yes, I know my name is a bit silly! My friends and I are from a hoarding case with around 28 dogs living in a small pen outdoors. We were all competing for resources in such a small space that we were fighting each other often and many of us are covered in scars from our time living there. We will all need some help learning how to live in a proper house, how to potty outside, how to walk on a leash. We didn't have a whole lot of interaction with people, so some of us are a bit shy, but we all want so badly to trust and be loved. With just a little bit of time and patience in the right home, we will make excellent companions!

Story
Hi there! I'm Salt! I came in with my friends from a household with 14 of us little dogs living together. It was similar to a hoarding situation where we did not learn very many house skills, manners or socialization with strangers. Because of that I am a little bit shy at first but warm up very quickly! Once I know you, I love to cuddle and give kisses! I also will need a patient home that will understand that I hadn't gotten the best start to my life and will help me work through potty training and leash manners! I have a lot of energy and would benefit from an active house. I get along well with other dogs, in fact, having another friendly dog in the house would probably help me adapt even quicker!
