Story
Meet Sadie Mae 💕 Sadie Mae is a 13-years-young Beagle with a heart full of love and the sweetest, gentlest soul. She’s wonderful with kids, cats, and other dogs, and comes with excellent house manners to match her kind personality. When it’s time to relax, Sadie’s favorite place is a cozy snuggle bed—preferably close to her people. Sadie is an experienced traveler who spent her life moving alongside her Navy family. While her most recent move wasn’t one she could make with them, she’s handled this change with grace and resilience. She still enjoys a good sniffy walk, and lately has even started joining in playtime with her foster dog friends. She’s a quiet girl overall, offering only the occasional tiny bark when she’s feeling extra happy. Sadie is fully crate trained and does great when left alone—she happily eats her meals and enjoys a good dental chew in her crate while you’re away. Sadie is currently available foster to adopt while she awaits her dental. If you’re looking for a calm, loving companion who will fit seamlessly into your home and your heart, Sadie Mae is ready to curl up beside you and enjoy her golden years surrounded by love. 🐾💛

Story
Banjo boy! This guy is an absolute hoot. This guy has only been with us for under a year but we really expected him to find placement easily because of his size and breed! Banjo is a typical hound dog. He’s extremely talkative, he loves to spend time outside, and he loves to dig holes and lay in them. He absolutely HATES being crated. A home where he wouldn’t need to be would be ideal. For being 5-6 years old, he has a ton of energy still! He does well with dogs that are his size. It took him a few days to get used to Puppy but he was never aggressive. He had a big talk but no bite. We cat tested him when he came in and he seems to do fine with them. He seemed kinda scared of them and just walked the other way. Banjo would be an amazing companion for anyone in my opinion. Maybe not with younger kids but aside from that he’s really great! He loves to spend time on the couch with you and when he’s outside he loves to play chase! A home with a fenced yard is required and no apartment homes because he is LOUD. If you don’t like loud dogs, run the other way. If you think banjo would be a good fit for your home, please shoot us a dm so we can get you our dog application! Located in lake city FL.
