Hi, my name is Ella. I am one of the most well-balanced pups at the rescue! I’m good with kids, dogs, and cats. I’m a sweet, happy girl who enjoys attention, lots of pets, and relaxing by your side. I’m housetrained too. My owner could not take care of me anymore, so I am looking for a new family. I’m currently in a foster home in the meantime. Story
Bruno came to us from Miami-Dade Animal Services, where he was dumped by his previous family. While at the shelter and soon after our rescue saved him, he began displaying some disturbing behaviors that have proven to be quite challenging for both Bruno and all of us. Despite his challenging past, Bruno has been working hard with his trainer to overcome his struggles. Well, Bruno recently celebrated his 8th birthday with us - he has come so far! However, Bruno still requires a very specific and experienced adopter. He has shown signs of aggression, but with proper care and attention, we believe he can thrive. When unbothered, Bruno is a gentle soul who gets along fantastically with dogs and cats - and likes to cuddle on his terms. We’re not looking for just any adopter; we need a hero, someone with extensive experience in training and managing aggressive behavior. Bruno needs either a trainer or an experienced dog owner who can provide the patience, love, and care he deserves. Bruno loves to rest his head on his human and receive affection. He’s a diamond in the rough, waiting for someone to polish him and bring out his full potential. We are confident that there IS someone out there who can provide Bruno with the love, care, and expertise he needs. PLEASE SHARE HIM FAR AND WIDE! We’ll do whatever it takes to ensure his happiness. Let’s find Bruno his miracle and give him the happy ending he deserves. 🐾 Adopt: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SFBR/Dog

Story
Welcome Gretchen to SFBR 🐾 Meet our newest intake, Gretchen (#A1105709), a sweet little 8-year-old Cheagle (beagle/chihuahua mix) with the happiest spirit. She is friendly, loving, and always seeking attention. Gretchen was found as a stray and brought to the county shelter in Fort Myers, where no one ever came for her. Gretchen does have a few health concerns we will be addressing. She has a heart murmur and an enlarged heart, along with some coughing that may be related to her heart condition or maybe a respiratory issue. She also has dental disease, some mammary masses that will need to be evaluated, and mild arthritis. Despite all of this, she remains happy and full of love. Given her health issues, we did not want to risk her being euthanized at the shelter and decided it was best to pull her. Gretchen will need ongoing medical care and a foster home where she can decompress and finally feel safe. Let’s give Gretchen the second chance she deserves. ❤️ 🐾 Foster: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/foster/SFBR/Dog 🐾 Donate: • Zelle: info@southfloridabeaglerescue.com • PayPal: info@southfloridabeaglerescue.com • Contribute to our vet bill directly at TCAH - (305) 238-2222 • Website: https://www.southfloridabeaglerescue.org/donate

Story
He was supposed to die. At 13 years old, Jack the beagle was brought to the Pinellas County Animal Shelter in Largo, FL by his family with a request to euthanize him. Instead, the shelter paused and asked if anyone would give him a second chance. We said YES. Tonight, after a 4+ hour journey made possible by an incredible network of rescuers and volunteers across Florida, Jack arrived in South Florida safe. But his story isn’t over. It’s just beginning. Jack is a senior who has been through a lot. He has a significant heart condition, painful dental disease, and a few concerning masses that will need to be evaluated. Despite everything, he is heartworm negative. Most importantly, he is still here and still deserving of love. Now we need your help. We are urgently looking for a foster home, someone patient and kind who can give Jack a soft place to land. His medical care will be extensive. If you’re able to donate, it will go directly toward giving Jack comfort, relief, and the care he needs. From the shelter staff who advocated for him, to the volunteers who transported him, to our team at Town & Country Animal Hospital who will care for him, Jack is here because people cared. Let’s show him how much that care can mean. 🐾 Apply to foster 🐾 Donate to Jack’s care 🐾 Share his story Because no dog’s last chapter should begin with goodbye. Welcome to South Florida Beagle Rescue, Jack. Your life matters here. ❤️ • Foster: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/foster/SFBR/Dog • Donate: https://www.southfloridabeaglerescue.org/donate

Story
There’s a new girl in town - her name is Chloe 🩷 Chloe was found as a stray and brought to our local shelter in Miami. Shelter staff reached out to us as our partner and, of course, we said yes. So far, we know she’s as sweet as she is chunky… just look at that face 😍 While we may not know her past, we’re making sure her future is a bright one. She’s already been seen by Dr. Montero at Town and Country Animal Hospital, our favorite vet hospital in Miami. Aside from needing to lose a little weight and a mild belly rash that we’re already treating, she’s ready to find her forever home. Want to meet Chloe? Contact us 🐾
