Story
Meet Charlie - Your New Best Buddy! Charlie is a sweet, easygoing beagle who's ready to find his furever home! He's a relatively quiet guy for his breed and absolutely loves a good game of fetch (even if he's still perfecting the whole "bring it back" part!) Whenever playtime is over, Charlie is happiest curled up beside you on the couch, soaking up all the cozy vibes. He gets along well with other dogs and is selective, but manageable, around cats. Charlie is fully housebroken- he just needs to be let out regularly to keep his routine smooth. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a playful side and the perfect amount of couch-potato energy, Charlie might just be the one! He's ready to bring joy, snuggles, and lots of tail wags into the right home!

Story
Need a new home asap. Both girls continue to nip and attempt to fight. We do not want to send one to the pound This is Harley — a loving, gentle girl looking for a new forever home. She is currently seven years old, will be 8 in summer. 45lbs. She’s fully up to date on all her shots heart worm and flea and tick. Spayed. Shes house-trained and crate trained and loves to cuddle. Harley has a calm, easygoing personality but still enjoys running and playing outside. She currently sleeps in my daughter’s bed every night and is wonderful with kids and cats. The only thing is that she needs to be the only dog in the home — she doesn’t do well around dogs in the house with her.

Story
Meet Scout! Scout was found at a regular dumping ground. He was starting to get into some trouble just trying to find food and 1 of our fosters picked him up to keep him safe. He weighs 30 pounds and is estimated at 6 years old. We can tell he’s had a rough life and unfortunately he is heartworm positive. We have started him on Doxycycline and he will come with a year supply of Heartgard. Hopefully once the year supply of Heartgard is completed he will be heartworm negative. If not, he will continue Heartgard until he eventually will test negative. Scout is super nervous at first and he will need some time to learn that he is safe. We are going to do all we can to help him feel safe as soon as possible. He definitely will need a fence to keep him safe (hounds and their noses can get in trouble without fencing) and confident doggy friend to help him learn he will be ok. BTW Tango is his best buddy. If Tango is adopted and interested in an automatic best buddy for him, Scout will have no adoption fee. The adoption fee is $100 Which covers SOME of the cost of spay/neuter, shots, microchip, heartworm test, grooming (if needed), deworming, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and supplies while in our care. The pet MUST be kept on heartworm prevention all of their life. To apply to adopt go to our website www.fureverfurkids.com *We do home checks (either in person or virtual) for each pet before approving an adoption.* The application is to be completed prior to meeting the pet(s) you are interested in adopting. If they are still on the page, they are still more than likely still available. Once a pet is adopted from our rescue, they MUST be returned to us, if you cannot keep them. If you plan on not keeping them their whole lives, please do not apply. Thank you for looking at our rescues in need of amazing homes!

Story
Holy moly, meet Cubby, a beagle mix weighing just under 70lbs. Cubby came to us after his former owner passed away, and sadly has been with us for 1,114 days. Cubby is a favorite of many of the volunteers. He's so sweet, loving and kind. Cubby would be best with older children and gets along with other dogs. He would benefit from an active family who goes hiking and enjoys activities. Are you ready to give this boy the life he deserves and bring joy to your family? To adopt this pet, please go to hsnwga.org, 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption', to complete an online application to be preapproved. Due to the high volume of applications received, our Adoption Coordinator will only contact the applicant that best meets the needs of the pet.
