Story
Daisy Mae is a purebred beagle. She belonged to my dad and he passed away two months ago. Daisy, has been staying at his house outside since then. I am driving 45 minutes there and 45 minutes back every day to check on her. Now, the house is being sold, and Daisy urgently needs a new home. Daisy is 8 years old, fully housebroken, leash-trained, and up-to-date on all shots and monthly flea/tick preventatives. She is incredibly docile, absolutely loves children, and is a cuddler. She is used to living in the country with lots of space to come and go, but she would adapt beautifully to being an indoor house dog as long as she gets regular walks. She is perfectly happy sleeping on a dog bed or inside a dog house.I want nothing more than to find her a safe, loving family. She would make someone a great companion. I know taking in a pet is a big commitment, but Daisy has so much love left to give and asks for so little in return. Food and next months flea and tick preventative included.

Story
Meet the incredible Scout! This sweet soul was discovered at a common dumping ground, just trying to survive and find scraps of food in a world that didn’t treat him kindly. Luckily, we swooped in to rescue him and provide him the safety he desperately needs. Scout is about 30 pounds of pure heart and is estimated to be around 6-7 years old 🥰. Poor Scout has faced some tough circumstances, as he tested positive for heartworms. The good news is it was a low positive, so he’s been on Heartgard, since rescued! 🎉 Let’s keep our fingers crossed that by he’ll be heartworm negative very soon (usually takes a year in most cases). He is as sweet as pie, but Scout can be a little anxious/shy at first. He just needs a little time to trust and realize he's safe now! We’re committed to helping him feel secure and loved. Remember, this fella will require a fenced yard because hounds like him are notorious for following their noses into mischief! 🐕 Scout definitely needs a dog buddy in his home too. 🤩 His adoption fee is $100, which helps cover some of the costs like his neutering, vaccinations, microchip, flea prevention, and all the other goodies he enjoyed while with us. However, it's crucial that he stays on heartworm prevention for life. To adopt Scout, it's essential to apply through our website www.fureverfurkids.com and remember, we do home checks (either in person or virtually) to ensure every pet goes to the safest of homes! If you're serious about adding this adorable hound to your family Once a pet is adopted, they must come back to us if life circumstances change, so please be sure you're ready for a lifelong commitment! Thank you for considering Scout and his friends who are all in need of loving homes. 🏡
