She has a very calm and chill demeanor overall, but has moments of playfulness sometimes. She is a dream on a leash and loves her leisurely walks around the neighborhood. She takes some time opening up, which is not surprising considering she came from a huge hoarding case where she didn't get a lot of interaction from people. Once she begins to feel comfortable and settle in, she will be your best friend. She loves to be right by your side and has the sweetest way of letting you know she wants you to give her some love. If you are looking for a super chill, easy going senior dog, this is your girl.

Hey there! I'm Banjo Jojo, a 5-year-old (or so!) beagle with a heart full of love and a knack for couch potatoing. My foster dad and I are basically best buds-he's my go-to partner for those long, lazy lounging sessions. I get along with everyone-dogs, cats, you name it! Kids? Well, I haven't had much experience with them, so a little trial run might be a good idea to make sure we're all on the same page. I'm a quick learner thanks to my amazing foster mom, who is a dog trainer. She has taught me tons of new skills, and the best part is, she's more than happy to help teach my new family too! I'm super food motivated (treats are my jam!) and always eager to please. Leash walks? You bet! I'm a pro at those. Vet visits make me a bit nervous, but don't worry-I warm up quickly if things are taken slow and gentle. Oh, and did I mention my favorite toy? It's a plush alligator, and it's my constant sidekick! It goes everywhere with me, and I love snuggling up with it. Right now, I'm waiting on some heartworm treatment, so my foster siblings and I keep our playtime a bit low-key. But don't worry, once I'm all cleared up, I'll be ready for all sorts of adventures! If you're looking for a loyal, laid-back companion who's up for cuddles and casual strolls, I might just be the perfect match. Let's make some great memories together!

Here is Buttons, a delightful little barrel-of-monkeys for the whole family! Buttons will be spayed 06Dec24 and she likes to play with her toys & people. Not a single moment of aggression has ever been noted in her time with our foster family, she loves all dogs. Cats unknown but shows no harm to any wildlife. Who can't resist those Betty Davis eyes' of hers! What an almond gem. Buttons is potty trained, crate trained and eats food inside her crate with no issues. She enjoys playtime in the backyard and rolls around the grass once in a while. Great companion for families with kids or teenagers, we suspect children will bring out her lovable self...provides great exercise and social play, in a safe setting. Super positive, all around!
