Story
Meet Bailey! 🐾 Age: 5 Months Breed: Beagle Bailey is a beautiful, 5-month-old Beagle puppy who is ready to find her forever family! She is incredibly affectionate, loves people, and has that classic, floppy-eared hound charm. Like a true Beagle, Bailey is high-energy, highly motivated, and processes the world through her nose! Because she is a curious little explorer, she has proven to be quite the clever escape artist. She loves to dig and find ways under fences to follow a scent, so she absolutely requires a home with a highly secure, structurally sound yard to keep her safe. Other Pets: Bailey has a lot of playful puppy energy. She can be too rough and chase-heavy for senior cats or older, quiet dogs who prefer peace. She would thrive either as an only dog or with an active canine buddy who loves to wrestle and burn off energy with her. Children: She is friendly with kids, but because she is in her active puppy phase, she would do best in a home that can manage her energy alongside daily routines. She has guarded food as well as "treasures" found when digging but proper training should assist with that. She has learned the Sit command and is well on the path to being housebroken. Schedule: She has been on a consistent puppy schedule most days, but it obviously can be adjusted to suit any family's needs. At our home she generally woke at 8-830. As a puppy she would be out of her kennel for an hour to hour and a half then in her kennel for a 2-hour nap. Repeated throughout the day. She ate 1/2 cup of food 3 times per day. Bedtime was generally at 9pm with an as needed potty break in the middle of the night - though the last week she has slept for 9 hours without requesting (barking) for a break. She does really like her kennel! What She Comes With: To help her transition smoothly into her new home, Bailey will come with all of her gear: her kennel, a harness, leash, her favorite toys, her food dishes, and a handy travel treat/water dish combo for adventures. She enjoys chasing balls, toys, and running kids! She can get excited and nip at clothes if she thinks you are playing with her
