Meet Athena & Opie! A Daughter & Father bonded pair! We are hoping to place them together in the same home! They enjoy each others company and are always side by side, napping or chilling out together! They love each other VERY MUCH and it shows! Ahtena is a 6 year old, 17#  Beagle/Pug/Jack Russell Terrier mix and Opie is a 11 year old, 30# Beagle/Pug mix.    They previously lived with other dogs, cats & kids and did fine with all! They both like to cuddle and be with their humans.  Both enjoy chew bones and are not ones to play with toys.  Both walk ok on a leash. BC Carbon Copy came to us from a breeding kennel who relinquished her by no fault of her own. She simply got too old for a pet store.This is an extremely sweet girl who is good with people & other dogs. She would benefit fromsome basic obedience and confidence building because she is young..Her birth date is 08/19/22and shecurrently weighs approx. 15# full grown. She was recently returned due to a divorce and is a sweet girl who is great with kids. She has been vet. checked, spayed,micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings includingrabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. She is heart worm negative.Her adoption donation is $300and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. Any extra funds collected in his adoption donation not used for her vetting, will go into our general vetting fund for other dogs in need. Molly is an approximately 5 year old beagle mix who currently weighs about 40 pounds. Her ideal weigh is about 25 to 30 so she is in need of a weight loss plan. Molly is working on her potty training and will tolerate crating but is very rarely if ever crated. She mostly ignores cats and is dog selective. Molly came to us with her 7 couple day old puppies from rural Kentucky. She is considered semi feral by her foster mom but can be handled and is non aggressive. Most important to note is that Molly would be most happy if adopted with her very best friend Teddi. They have lived together in a separate section of their foster home for about a year now. Trooper was born in a rabbit hunter’s pack of Beagles. The hunter’s young son spent a lot of time playing with him. Perhaps as a result of this Trooper became more interested in people than rabbits. The hunter found that when he let the dogs out of his truck to hunt, Trooper preferred to stay close to him. Eventually he decided that trooper was not a hunting dog, but would make a good pet. Trooper is a good indoor dog. He is house trained and can stay alone inside 8 or 10 hours, but he would much rather be with a person. He is about 4 years old. He doesn’t chew furniture or jump up onto couches or beds. We have found that his stomach gets upset if he eats any dog food except Purina Dog Chow. He weighs 35 lbs. He is great with kids and small children. He loves to go on walks. He likes to play in the snow, but doesn’t enjoy hot weather too much. Because of our job changes we cannot keep him. We will miss him very much.

Meet Peppa, Peppa came to us as an unclaimed stray. She is estimated to be 3-4 years old and a mixed breed. She is very interesting looking. She has the horizontal build of a large dog but a long body and unproportionally short legs! Peppa is always happy to see people and loves her walks and yard time. She gets along with most other dogs but prefers dogs her size or smaller. She loves kids but can be jumpy when excited. She's not too big so she would likely be okay in a home with kids 8+. She is very interested in the cats at the shelter and would likely chase a cat if given the chance. Upon adoption, Peppa will be spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm negative.
