Hello! I'm Dory!  I am about 5 years old, 34# and a Beagle mix.  I came to FCAC as a stray girl, that no one came looking for. At first I was so scared and shut down being here at the shelter. It is loud here most of the time, and living in a kennel day after day is very stressful. There are so many other dogs also looking for their new families. If I don't look like a match, please check out all the others that are here at FCAC!   I am a good girl here at the shelter! I go to and from my kennel to go outside with no issues! I love being outside and playing ball is my absolute FAVORITE thing! I'm always checking in on my "girls" who work here caring for me! They love my sweet nudges and kisses when we spend time together!   I did meet the office cat here and he was not very amusing! I expect I'll do just fine with kitties, but proper introductions should always be done when introducing new pets to each other!  I think I'll probably be ok with other dogs, and a meet & greet will be set up for us to be sure before I come home with you! I haven't officially been around any kids since coming to FCAC, but they expect I'll do good with them as well! Please be sure to bring them along when our meet & greet is set up!!    I'm ready to start my new life and make new memories with you! I'll be your loyal sidekick and buddy through the adventures we find together!   Spayed, microchipped, Heartworm & Lyme Negative, current on vaccines and on monthly prevention. Adoption fee is $100   If you are interested in meeting and adopting, please submit an application here: https://www.fultoncoanimalcenter.org/application-to-adopt-a-dog Once submitted, staff will review your application during open hours. Please allow 24-36 hours for a response. If approved, we will contact you to schedule a meet & greet! His momma was a stray. Her name is Pearl and she has C-section on July 10th.. Estimated to mature at about 20 inches tall and about 40 pounds--not little, not too big, but just right medium size! He is a very nice pup and are patiently waiting to fill someone's life with companionship, loyalty, and love. House-trained, up to date on healthcare, great with kids and other dogs. He is being fostered in Virginia but we offer free transport to many states. I've included a DNA test on Onyx, his sibling.
